"Lovely place to stay, beach perfect for the dogs and people all very friendly. Accommodation good, could have been much better with a welcome pack! The steps were a challenge, I consider myself quite fit but 74steps to climb with luggage not easy, added to which my husband scraped his car on the hand rail while trying to park on the tricky slope. The views were amazing from the deck as expected."

House is exactly as shown in the pics - immaculate -- with unexpected beautiful views from not only the family room (with huge expanse of glass including out onto the patio) but also from the master and from the kitchen. "Everything about this cottage was good. Comfortable bed, bright living room with sea views, well fitted-out kitchen with washing machine - and all detached with garden, parking & good communication. The Sat-Nav took us right there, but had to park and locate on foot as the property is tucked away up a drive way - no big deal though! Beautiful coastal walks nearby."

"What a gem The Laurels is. We enjoyed a long weekend at the cottage and had everything we needed. Lovely welcome package to arrive to after a long drive and lots of information about what to visit in the area. Beds were very comfortable and everywhere was spotlessly clean. "Lovely old worldly feel to property. We stayed in adjacent lodges. Staff are the outstanding feature of this property including chef . Bed was not king size as advertised and pillows need renewing as seemed hard and worn out....maybe the addition of a pillow menu might be an added benifit. Lodge was of exceptional size and amenity. Make sure you find the walled garden....tranquil and beautiful. Will be recommending to family and friends. "
