“What a lovely stay run by a lovely couple.
A quirky friendly B&B within easy walking distance of town ( a little up hill on the way back)
Beautiful garden full of interest.
A perfectly cooked breakfast in the morning made using good quality produce. Along with cereals, yogurts and juice.
Homely and clean.
You really felt like a guest rather than just another number moving through.
They have two small friendly dogs but kept them out of the way for a guest who felt nervous around dogs.……

It was perfect for 1 night, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
The Anchor is a lively, popular pub serving local beers and weekly live music.
The room had some ear plugs provided but we didn't need them, a nice thought though.”

“There were two restaurants near one Greek and one Latin American we tried the latter and it was good, the Greek one was closed Monday. Staff were welcoming, small family run hotel so personal. Nice bar area. Breakfast was included (continental) but they did offer boiled eggs or bacon bap or sausage bap in the morning.”

“We booked a two-night stay at The Montagu Arms to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, so this was a special occasion for us. I would first like to say that every member of staff we encountered was friendly, welcoming and professional throughout our stay.
