“Lovely Hotel , very clean and fab room but could of done with a bigger room with our Grandson.! Staff were excellent, helpful and friendly and the breakfast was tasty and plentiful. A tiny fridge would be helpful in the room but over all we had a lovely stay at the Birdham. What a lovely part of the Island Bembridge is, in my opinion the nicest exception apart from the Needles. Bembridge has lovely quiet beaches to visit and we found the people very friendly. Was a wonderful week🙂”

“The hotel is located on the beach and we arrived during the busiest time of the year- Cowes week and it was not easy getting rooms in any hotels . We booked 2 rooms for a family of 4 and we had clean sheets and clean bed . After paying £1900 for 2 rooms for 4 nights - breakfast not included, nobody at the reception after 5pm and no room service until asked was a huge disappointment. The staff are good but the way things are- it’s not going to attract more customers in the future. I had asked for……

“首先房間內沒有WiFi服務，現今社會，酒店沒可能沒有Wi-Fi服務，他的酒店只供應大堂，房內設施簡陋，沒有雪櫃也沒有保險箱，房間內亦沒有盒裝紙巾供客人使用，也沒有提供樽裝水給客人。 我也住過他鄰近酒店而且價錢比這更還低港幣$200一晚，但是他每天提供兩支樽裝水，第一天入到房內還有朱古力贈送，他們房間的Wi-Fi接收能力還比自己的上網卡更強，也有盒裝紙巾放在睡床旁邊！ 所以再對比一下，這間酒店的好處只是近碼頭！其他不值一提”

“We booked a one night stay in the Albert Room. Room was very nice, particularly the wonderful sea views, comfortable bed and air conditioning. Bathroom was spacious and featured a double rainfall shower. Towels were soft and felt quite new. The room has a large terrace with sun loungers and chairs, but no privacy from the other rooms on the same level. Hotel has a well maintained car park. “Great location just a couple of minutes from the beach. Tucked away in a quiet area. Good parking for a motorbike. All staff friendly and helpful. Room had all you needed. Large fan was a godsend. Breakfast cooked to order and delicious. Indoor pool lovely. Even has a brilliant private snooker room. Would stay again for next IOW visit.”

“Very dated decor and in need of complete renovation. Walls and ceilings of bedroom were pale and faded magnolia / white with painted over cracks in ceiling. Rooms very warm (no aircon) and only a cheap plastic desk fan to cool them down. Very basic facilities / amenities in room (cheap plastic kettle, single bottle of 'shampoo & gel' in bathroom and cheap plastic bins and toilet brush. Restaurant was like something from the 1970's with long, slow moving queue for cereals and juices and then……

“This was the first Hotel i have stayed in where a Fridge in the room wasn't available I would not recommend Room 23 as it was so noisy , above the main door in , the Bins were collected at 5am and we didn't get any sleep after that.”

“The property is listed as luxury cottages. The picture looked as if it has sea view. There was no wifi and the very limited mobile data connection. We had to come to the decking area for signal. The next property was separated by plants. The guests were so loud and sat outside most of the time so we had to be indoors and keep the door and windows shut for some peaceful time. The view was a wall of plants. It was a nice cozy cottage but should not be advertised as 'luxury'.”
