「This place is overrated, dated, unclean. Friendly staff but it is quite far from the town centre and it feels more like it is about how you as a customer can help the staff - it is about their needs, not yours as a customer.」

「A good roof over your head with a lovely breakfast provides a great foundation for the perfect holiday. And for this reason I have to give Ethel high praise for looking after me, my wife and daughter, during our four-day stay at the Newport Quay B&B Hotel. The comfortable king size and single bed in our bedroom suited us well, including the en-suite bathroom - all clean and ship shape. 「Excellent location in Shanklin, a short distance walk from everything. We stayed during the peak of hot weather, so my only grumble is lack of some air con. Otherwise staff were friendly and breakfast was cooked well. Dog friendly and dog also enjoyed his stay and sausage at breakfast!」
