"We stayed in The White House for a celebratory weekend. It was perfect for our 4 generations of family. Ample space, wonderfully comfortable bedrooms, all with Ensuite bathrooms which gave everyone the privacy they wanted. The kitchen is a delight, the hub of the house, while the main lounge was ideal for cosy chats by the fire and hosting lots of family games. We enjoyed the pool room immensely too and the snug gave everyone the opportunity to watch their favourite teams on the TV. Although our weather was poor the location is ideal for walking to the beach and exploring lovely Bembridge. We also enjoyed games of Molkey in the garden which was secure and private. All in all, we loved our time at The White House and cannot recommend it highly enough."

"The windows were thick with grey stuff, which I assume to be mould. there was no expelair in the bathroom and you couldn't open the window. The double room was cramped - narrow space up the side of the bed and no bedside tables. There was a rude sign outside the breakfast area: No (double underlined) admission before 8.30. On our first day the door to this was locked because the chef was late. On the good side, the owners have made an effort with some of the decor and also with producing good food. At breakfast, however there are only coffee bags and the breakfast table had 4 croissants (for 4 double rooms). The chef did not offer bread or toast, but brought it if asked. "

"Lovely staff. Room was upgraded by them even though not their fault we arrived late (ferry). Only problem was that the cleaners were not notified of the change & came into our room when we were there. "

"Great cottage and host. Marion is very welcoming and responsive as a host and the cottage is a perfect home. We love Bembridge - great walks and fabulous amenities especially the bakery! We look forward to our next visit."

"Lovely place but we visited at the coldest time of the year and the heating could have been much more powerful. An EV charger or two would have been very helpful here but I think perhaps I’m asking a bit too much here. "
