“We had the most wonderful stay at the Beach House in Bembridge. From the moment we arrived, the house had real wow factor. The hosts were incredibly generous, leaving us lovely local produce – such a thoughtful touch. The house itself is stunning and beautifully equipped. The kitchen is huge and has absolutely everything you could need, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the underfloor heating made the whole place feel cosy and luxurious. “This house has such potential to be a great holiday home - the location is wonderful, the rooms are large and layout of the house is fab. However, upon arrival the house had clearly only had a very light clean. There was white dog hair everywhere and we had to clean the bath before using it. The shower tray didn’t drain when using it and there was a strong drainage smell in both bathrooms. The slats on the main bed were broken when we arrived but the agent sent someone to fix it straight away……

“We visited in early May, group of 4 friends. We decided to go without a car and used the train, foot ferry and buses. Very convenient location with a lovely walk into Ryde and also a regular bus service. The house is very clean and well equipped with spectacular views although it does have the idiosyncrasies of an older property, for example the showers could be a little temperamental. “The Dairy Barn is a beautiful large property set in an idyllic location but within easy reach of local amenities and attractions by car. Our group consisted of 6 adults and the 3 en-suite bedrooms were ideal. The kitchen is large and very well equipped and there was plenty of seating in all rooms, including the very comfortable lounge. Plenty of parking for 3 cars and room to store our bikes. Would thoroughly recommend. Sally was very helpful and on-hand should we need anything.”
