"This is a 100 year old hotel in the village of Alert Bay. Our room had a small balcony with a great view. The breakfast included bread, fruit and yogurt.
The dining room downstairs had a limited menu. Don’t pay any attention to the one posted online. Prices, of course were higher , but the food was good. "

"Excellent facilities and spectacular views. Beds were comfortable, laundry was fab to keep up with the washing. No TV, excellent but good internet to keep in touch with home. Not only would I stay there again, I would buy it if money were no object. A resident eagle kept watch from the neighbours tree and passing whales were exciting to see. Thank you for your hospitality."
"It was our first time staying there and it was as shown and described on the listing. Very clean, great wifi, quiet, surrounded by nature with an ocean view and breeze. All the amenities you could need are available. The staff on site were superb. They have a recycling centre which is unheard of at most places. There is a food truck that looked great but we didn’t partake. They even have two (big dog/small dog) off leash fenced areas to let the doggos roam. The owner (Marc) was always informative and available through the VRBO site. Hate to review this gem that we would like to keep a secret. All in all we will return. Thanks"
