There is always no staff at the reception. You need to ring a bell and wait as they are to busy serving at the restaurant or bar. I emailed as I left something behind, but there is no response so far. Though the view is good at the backyard.

Nice, quiet, clean & tidy accommodation. Fully equipped Kitchen and comfortable beddings. The room is spacious and the staffs are all super friendly & helpful.

The house is an oldie but a goodie, loved every minute of our stay there! The fireplace heated up the house so well and it really felt like home. 10/10 love it!

Suggest host install light fixtures rather than bare light bulbs everywhere and fix the leak in shower and kitchen window hardware. The bach was very clean and simple. Suggest you get any groceries before you arrive.

We loved our stay and our time in Makarora. It was spacious, with good kitchen facilities, BBQ, and comfy bed, lovely outdoor deck, aircon and fire box to choose from. Lots of Kiwi cottage charm. Birdlife and song incredible, hence the apt name! Close to some lovely walks too. Top spot for exploring ...
