“I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Absolutely fantastic. Asela is so helpful and even takes you in his tuk tuk into town should you require anything. The property is beautifully maintained. I recommend that you take advantage of the magnificent tradition Sri Lankan home cooked dinner. It was delicious and and so cheap and we did that twice.”

“The property was absolutely beautiful and well kept. The staff were amazing and the meals were delicious. Highly recommend!”

“We were extremely happy with our 3 nights stay at Gabaa. Staff were superb. All the cabins were hidden amongst the nature, making it must more relaxing and enjoyable. Property was very quiet and had plenty of privacy. Hiruni and Eranda and also everyone else were always available and made our stay memorable. My kids didn’t want to leave the property. Rooms very spacious and AC was worked perfectly. We got some tea and food and they were authentic.”

“This place is great. Not for it's facilities, but for the honesty, kindness and professionalism of it owner Anska. The bungalow rooms are very simple, with a/cand shower, clean an comfortable and cooectly priced. There is very good food served for breakfast and evening meals if you want them. Anska will take you in his jeep or tuc-tuc to any of the marvelous sites in the area and also do jeep safaris into the local parks to see elephants and other fauna. All at reasonable prices. He has a good……

“Everything was basic, but that's all I expected, except that it didn't have hot shower. But the owner was kind enough to let me use the hot shower in an empty room. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, and I had great sleep hearing only the sound from the nature at night. The dinner made by the old ladies was super good, but the breakfast was a bit plain.”

“Very nice hotel See you next year again.”

“The room was clean and had its own patio area. The owner was so helpful and kind, i’m checking in on me throughout my stay, give me suggestions of where to go, helped me arrange rides, made me feel safe and that he cared. I would highly recommend this place, especially as a solo traveler.”

Allgemein……

“Location is good. Lots of ants and insects in the room. Host was welcoming. But be aware of food cost. Ask price before ordering. We order seafood dinner for three. He made combination of fish, calamari, tiny crabs and few shrimp and charged 50 dollars(water for drink). We paid as we did not ask before eating. Then he came back and ask 800 rupees for driver’s break fast. We paid. A minute later he came for driver’s accommodation cost. At that point we said, NO. We stayed 2 weeks in Sri Lanka.……

“Appalling. ”
