“We had a group of 7 and all had a really good time. Communication with host beforehand was helpful, clean cabin, comfortable bedding, plenty of cooking stuff, and we loved the bonfire area. Spent a lot of time on the big dock and explored the lakes a bit while fishing. Fantastic area for a long weekend!”

“It was excellent. The cottage is very charming, the screen porch is wonderful, and the master bed was super comfy (that was the only one we used). It is very close to town as the crow flies. We saw groups from our area walking into town. It is doable, but not ideal. It is in a very peaceful area, and you can see a little of the lake by looking through the lots across the street. There is a nice firepit area in back, and the gardens in front are beautiful. I didn’t realize it, but there are two……

“The stay was great. Management was easy to work with and wasn't interruptive to our stay. The house is in a great quiet location and is set on the edge of a small lake. Great fishing lake, caught multiple bass and northern using the small boat they had available. Easy to use and fun for everyone. Bring your own tackle! Amenities were great, everything felt new and was easy to use. Lots of pots/pans and silverware available. Hot tub was great and was a nice way to relax and enjoy the stay. If……

“The unit hadn't been cleaned since the previous people had been there. after voicemails and texts, the owner contacted us and was able to get ahold of the cleaning company to come and clean it 2 hours after we had arrived to check in. Once we came back after the cleaner had been there, it was very nice and clean and looked as it should.”

The large common areas upstairs and downstairs gave us plenty of room to gather, and the large bedrooms gave everyone a comfortable space of their own. The kitchen was very well-stocked with tools and the little things in the pantry you forget to bring on vacation. There was plenty of comfortable seating (and a great hot tub) on the patio to enjoy time together outside, too. The Weber and Blackstone grill……

“What a great house and a great place to stay! The home had plenty of room for our larger group to get away. It was cozy and perfect. We had an issue with the VRBO app/messaging not working but we were able to communicate directly, the host was easy to communicate with! The location was perfect, and overall exactly what we were looking for. Beautiful area!”

“We came out to John’s property for my best friend’s bachelorette party and it was amazing!! The pictures online honestly do not do the place justice as it was a lot bigger and more spacious than we expected! John was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had, he gave us great recommendations, and he was very accommodating! The check in and check out process was super easy and we didn’t have any problems during our stay. We rented his pontoon out for a day and it fit all 13 of us……

“This place is even better than the pictures! Our family was there to celebrate two birthdays, and the location couldn't have been better. Access to the lake via your own dock was a great perk, highly recommend renting a pontoon for your stay in the summer months. We would love to come back for the winter sometime!”
