「Fantastic place. Easy to park. Great customer service, awesome food, good size room and extremely comfortable bed. Only stayed 1 night but will happily recommend and will stay again.」
「Absolute gem of a place to stay. Gorgeous room with everything you need & so peaceful. The food was really good both for dinner & breakfast. We visited Fountains Abbey which was only 2 miles away. And we could do parkrun with plenty of time to get back before checkout & eat breakfast. Would love to return.」
「Old coaching in so plenty of character. Unfortunately this also meant no lift so a bit of a struggle to upstairs rooms with a heavy suitcase. Staff were all friendly and efficient and the included breakfast offered plenty of variety. I ate dinner in the bar lady night and the lamb was really excellent. There is parking but I’m not sure if there is space if every room is filled. There’s also a spa on site but I didn’t have time to try it.」
「A thoroughly enjoyable stay. All the staff we encountered were so warm and friendly. Our room was very well equipped and spotless with quality fittings. Breakfast offered plenty of choice and great quality, the breakfast staff were very polite and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely look to return.」
「We had a very comfortable stay. The room was very clean, the breakfast made to your order with additional cereal and juice available. The staff were very friendly and concerned about our needs. Car parking was provided at the back.
The location was within walking distance from the town centre pubs and restaurant as well as next to a big Tesco. Perhaps the TV was a tad small. 」
「Staff were amazing 10/10
Food amazing
Very accommodating
Rooms says soundproof but wasn’t and corridors smell of the food, overall though we had a lovely time and used as a base and we enjoyed the food they served 10/10」
「A very good little place. Room was clean and tidy and the bed comfortable. The food in the pub downstairs was good and the breakfast very good. Excellent value for money.」
