“If you're looking for a peaceful stay in a period country house then Cleavers Ling is the perfect place for you. Our bedroom was comfortable. The breakfast room, with its oak beams and inglenook fireplace set the scene for our host, Sally, to bring us full English breakfasts, (my eggs were poached to perfection). Tea from a large silver service tea pot poured without dripping on the linen tablecloth and the toast from the toast-rack rounded off the meal and set us up for the morning. We were……
