8/10 Good
"Staff were abrupt upon our initial arrival but softened as our stay progressed. I am more so eluding to the front desk, the bellhop and valet attendants were very kind and helpful. Location is great for walking to major tourist attractions as in pier 39 and Lombard street. The surrounding area is dated and suspect at night but all in all good spot for vacationers as ourselves. We traveled with 2 children and the outdoor space was nice to unwind in the evening hours, a pool would’ve been a nice plus but we knew they didn’t have on before booking. We also paid for a “city view” but all we got was a giant tree outside our window blocking any “view” and was accompanied by what they call “city music” which equated to screaming people and loud cars blazing down the road in the early morning hours."

"Lovely older hotel in the heart of downtown San Francisco. Easily walkable to transportation, the ballpark, and Chinatown. Very helpful staff and the rooms were very clean and well taken care of. Breakfast that’s included at the cafe next door is delicious!"

"Got to stay in the City for a few days and it was the best trip! Long overdue time in this area. So many great restaurants close by and traveling by Cable Car never disappoints. The Hotel staff were all charming and helpful. Thanks for the great hospitality and memories. See you again!"

"A very nice place to stay. The room was clean as well as the premises. One of the best free continental breakfast we’ve had. The walk to the beach takes 15 mins. Once on the coast, walk on the beach and to the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. We drove into town and had dinner at Nano’s Ohana Cafe (in the back patio), mixed plate is the best! Strolling Main St after eating was nice, lots of shopping."
