Seaside Escape

The home was very comfortable and clean and was right next to the beach. Was a great experience and I would recommend this place to everyone looking for a quiet getaway. Restaurant is excellent that is right next door as well.

Completely Wonderful Stay

It was the beach vacation experience we were hoping for. The location is perfect. Miles of trails extend each direction on the cliff tops. The Miramar Beach Restaurant has a terrific pianist & delicious food and is steps away. The accommodation is very spacious and the hosts are organized and responsive.

You can hear the waves!

My husband and I stayed here for a parents weekend away. We loved it! The property is literally a few steps away from the beach, you can hear the ocean while you sleep. It is located up the high way from HMB downtown. The space is clean, hot tub was nice (but took a bit to heat up so plan ahead), and we walked to several restaurants (The Barn, Mirimar Beach restaurant).

Great location near the bluffs - beautiful sunsets, sounds of the surf, walks on bluffs and beaches. Nice interior with treehouse-like feel - looking out the large north windows into the branches.

We had a lovely stay in this gorgeous home. We especially enjoyed using the BBQ grill and the amazing hot tub! It was wonderful to walk to the ocean right down the street and explore the neighborhood. Our hosts were always ready to answer any questions and address any concerns we had.

We love visiting Half Moon Bay and this location was perfect for us. It is near some of our favorite restaurants and the beach is close enough that you can hear the surf. Friendly staff, I met Fernando after texting Stephanie regarding the TV (I couldn't work it). He was very helpful. Our last night we returned from dinner to find that I left the key on the kitchen table! And that's when we met Stephanie. In spite of the hour, and the inconvenience to her, she was quite pleasant and understanding. Thank you Stephanie!

The property was not as decribed. the house was not fully clean, including hot tub! When my husband and I walked in we were overwhelmed by the smell of 6 cheap, wax, air freshners placed in the front room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, triggering severe migraine & nausea. The windows that could be opened and the front door did not have screens, so when opened everything up to get fresh air, we immediately had flies. I contacted owners, however they did not assist because property manager was vacation or out of town. We had to find an alternative place to stay overnight before heading back home. We have stayed in other VRBO rentals and loved them (5 stars)...I think we are still in shock regarding this one.
