Treat yourself to a stay in our mountain top, resort-like home hosted by Airbnb Superhosts with 13 years experience.

This beautiful open two-bedroom suite offers spectacular ocean, mountain & island views. A very unique feature is that there is exposed bedrock beneath the ocean facing windows. The queen-size bed is very comfy. The kitchen features high-end IKEA cabinets and an extended walnut countertop. The concrete floors have wonderful radiant floor heating.

We are on 10 acres with a scenic areas for you to enjoy.

This is a wonderful place for people seeking a quiet, healing place, surrounded by nature with spectacular views. It’s a large, open area with plenty of room to cook, eat, relax and sleep. The bathroom features a large shower. There is a leather love seat as well as an IKEA bentwood chair as well as a large desk, large dresser, a thick plush carpet, an oak dining table with 4 chairs and your own private entrance. The well-equipped kitchen has 2 induction burners, microwave oven, countertop convection oven, dishes, utensils, kettle, toaster, a bar size fridge, and a regular size fridge with a large freezer. The radiant floors provide a gentle, quiet heat.

We cater to young families and have a portable crib and high chair available for infants at no charge.

There is a small extra room that contains a single bed, bookcase and desk that’s available for a third guest. This room does not have a window but does have fresh air and a glass door to allow natural light to enter.

This reservation has a Super Flexible cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 14 day prior to the check in date.
A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 14 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 7 to 13 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 7 days prior to check-in. CanadaStays Booking Fees are refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of placing your booking request.

Pet(s) live on property - We have two very friendly Aussie Shepherd dogs who love to interact with our guests. They are allowed to roam the property near the house.

Nice basement suite with lots of lighting. Check in information could've gone smoother, a few outlets and mini fridge had issues functioning. Located further out in the country side a vehicle is a must. Site manager was pleasant individual and dog was friendly.

The bathroom was a bit small and the bedroom in the main room could use a privacy screen for dressing. Microwave was in a weird spot. Would also have liked use of a BBQ. Toilet was very noisy. Otherwise a lovely place to stay.

Good launching point

The Bedrock suite was a good landing spot to explore the sunshine coast. Kito, the owner was very kind/friendly, and the property manager/caretaker was also very nice and accommodating. For the price, the unit was spacious, bright, had nice views and adequate kitchen amenities for cooking, which was great! The property is unique and lively. As the lower level of a house, the unit was a touch loud at times and did not feel terribly private (windows overlooking a communal outdoor kitchen), parking is also quite tight, but overall was happy with our stay. The acreage dog was super sweet!

The property located couple kilometers away of HWY101. Really quiet and convenient location. Groceries 10-15 minutes drive. Provincial parks, beaches and point of views are in good shape. People are very friendly. However, without detailed maps tourists have difficulties to navigate, therefore GPS is really helpful. Bottom line, we spent time wisely.

The property is in a beautiful spot and the bedrock in the floor was a beautiful and interesting focal point on the plus side. If you had a mobility challenge it would be difficult as it is necessary to climb the rock in order to open and close the blinds and to reach the microwave oven. We had all we needed (dishes, small fridge, an extra fridge available, microwave, toaster, toaster oven, no stove but two induction burners that were great and easy to use, candles and matches, towels and linens were all lovely) and it was clean and comfortable. A large oak table and chairs in the kitchen to eat at. The driveway was quite steep and parking a bit awkward but not terrible and the warm welcome from our host Karen and her two very friendly dogs was lovely. There was no TV hooked up but there was a monitor available that we hooked up to a loptop to downloaded and watch Netflix episodes. The seating area outside had a spectacular view looking out towards Halfmoon Bay but we did not use it because it was chilly in the evenings in late September. The radiant heat in the floor was really nice as it kept the concrete floor very comfortable underfoot. A cosy rug in the sitting area was nice as well. A cosy chair and throw blankets would be a great addition to the sitting space if you had more than two people occupying the space. We had only two people so each of us had a cosy place to sit and enjoy. Karen and Kito were wonderful, responsive hosts! Highly recommended.

Our son didn't want to leave

We thoroughly enjoyed the week we spent at Karen and Kito's VRBO. They were attentive hosts without being intrusive. They attended to our questions and needs as well as provided very comfortable accommodations. Our son really enjoyed playing with the dogs and the opportunity to roast marshmallows at the propane fire pit (during the fire ban). We are so glad we had the opportunity to enjoy our holiday at their property.

Very clean and comfortable stay!

The property and the owner were lovely. Very cute dogs. The suite was fully equipped and very tidy and the bed was super comfortable. If you have a car the location is perfect, if you’re on foot just be aware it’s not really walking distance to anything but we drove so everything was perfect and convenient :)
