The apartment is very big and comfortable, which felt nice for a remote work + stay. The location is residential but there’s a bunch of cafes and bars in the area and downtown isn’t too far either. However, the doggy daycare downstairs gets loud at 7:30am and the dogs’ barking lasts the entire day. The house also smells a bit of the pets downstairs. The house also has a dryer and washer but detergent wasn’t provided (even after asking), which made the utilities useless because I wasn’t going to buy detergent on a tourist trip.

I stayed here for two nights, and it was a wonderful location and stay. This unit is on the second floor, up some narrow stairs. Inside, it is quite spacious. And though there is no air conditioning, if you open up the windows, it gets nice and cool! The patio was a nice space as well, during the day you can watch the puppies in the doggy daycare below, and a neighbourhood cat! In the evening, it is beautiful and quiet. All in all, this place had everything that I needed for my short but memorable stay in Halifax.

We did not stay here mostly because the owner never once replied to our inquiries even though they sent a text immediately upon taking my money saying just text with any questions. Then silence. I don't trust such behavior so I booked a hotel. Good thing too because it was hot and this place has no A/C. Also the refund took over two weeks and did not get issued until I complained to VRBO.

C’est un bel endroit confortable, bien décoré et bien équipé. Nous avons cependant eu un problème à l’arrivée car Sweet Digs et VRBO ne nous avaient pas donné le code d’entrée. Stress inutile! Le quartier est « trendy » mais bruyant (voitures de transit et cris ou conversations fortes des passants tard dans la nuit. Pas d’air climatisé.
