“Room was hot, turned on a/c at night which then blew out electric. Worrisome. Wasn’t able to sleep. Left the next morning in the middle of a two night reservation in an area we would have liked to stay longer.”

“They don’t tell you when you’re booking that it’s made up of three separate buildings. So I was placed in a building that did not look like the photos posted. That was the only reason I booked it. I was so excited to explore and take photos. But I was out in a plain building that hallways looked like a motel. The room was fine. But I booked it for the building and the experience. Receptionist saw I was crying about it and at first was helpful. Said she’d speak to the managers and that they’d……

“Room was clean, and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. They even left chocolate covered strawberries and a birthday card to acknowledge a special birthday! Breakfast sandwich for breakfast was amazing!!!!! Hotel is walking distance to almost everthing!”

“great hotel in middle of downtown Halifax ... which is a great place with great nightlife. hope you enjoy staff were excellent, hotel is very good but aircon is a bit old and noisy as was the fridge which we had to switch off due to noise.”

“The parking garage, because it was also used by other commercial groups was not easy to navigate (where to park to be close to hotel elevators vs lugging suitcases a long way). Be sure to get your parking ticket validated - even for a one night stay - because even though the front desk said it was not needed, we couldn’t exit through automatic barrier. We had to call for assistance to someone who had to contact the hotel to ensure of our name/room # etc. Almost 10 minutes later we were able to……

“The staff were super friendly and helpful and location was great! However the room was not cleaned well when we arrived. A wine bottle was found under the main cabinets and there was tuffs of hair and food under the desk. The staff tried to make it right. The shampoo bottle came off the wall in the tub which looked to be held on by doubled sided tape? Overall the kids enjoyed themselves but the adults , being this is the first time in a Marriott hotel, I will be looking at other properties……

“Actually everything are nice and worth for the prices. Just a bit far from DT Halifax only, nit a big deal if you take the buses.”
