"This hotel is located in the center of town, so is very accessible for public transport, taxis, ubers etc.
The building is very old, so allowance needs to be made for that, but the rooms are well appointed and clean, the bed was great and TV and internet worked very well.

"We only stayed one night. Check-in was quick & staff were helpful. The room was quite spacious, with a comfortable bed and clean linen. We had dinner and breakfast in restaurant and both food & service was good. Good location for waterfront, which was only a very short walk away. As we didn’t use the parking garage, we can't comment on that. As regards the internet access, that was not so good as it kept dropping out. T.V. had a good picture, which hasn't always been the case in sone hotels."
"We booked this hotel for a two night stay during Buskerfest. Staff were very helpful and the site was in a perfect location. I didn't have a great view but if that was the worst thing, I was very happy"
"The Moxy Hotel Halifax has a fun vibe. Aimed at travelers looking for a different from the norm, experiential stay. The public areas, bar and restaurant are the highlight of this property. The rooms are dormitory style, which seems intentionally aimed at a younger millennial, gen z crowd. Yet there are minimal modern touches in the rooms such as usb outlets and dimmer switches for lighting, etc. The entry level room is also void of surfaces, save the little desktop that folds down. Overall, these missing conveniences are minor and shouldn't ruin a short stay. Would reccomend for adventurous travellers of a younger demographic lookimg for somthing a little different than the cookie cutter Hamptons and Residence Inns of the world. "
