Your nearest neighbour is the sister house to this one (The one we stayed at was called bushland, but ironstone is also available.) "Staff were good on the phone. I never met them in person. There should be a height clearance limit on the entry to see if vehicles can fit under. Also the bathroom door did not shut properly. The room was great. The outdoor area out the back of room was old and rundown. Not very inviting. Also some lighting out the front at night for late entry’s would be helpful."

"Jim is a very responsive host, always quick to answer any questions. He was flexible in check out time which we were extremely grateful for. The property was the perfect size and location for our group of friends and we felt right at home. It is really quite the private block with the only bit of infrastructure in sight being Jim's storage area to the back of the property. We would definitely stay again."

"My family and I spent two nights at the Red Gum Cottage and had a wonderful stay. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Jurek was an excellent host—friendly, responsive, and genuinely helpful. He went out of his way to resolve an issue with the Wi-Fi, which we really appreciated. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend the Red Gum Cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable place to stay."
