「The building is old. The unit bath was very narrow and the toilet was old and dirty. There was no outlet in the bathroom so we couldn't use a hair dryer etc. The steps to the loft bed were too steep and when we sat down our heads almost hit the ceiling. The lights in the room were dim.The room we stayed in didn't have a dining table, just a small desk and a chair, so one of us had to sit on the bed to eat. There were some inconsistencies between the photos of the room and the description of the...

「Checking in and out fast and easy, the owners are English proficient. The location could hardly be more convenient, just a couple minutes from Nakano station and right next to Nakano Broadway, but at the same time the neighborhood was very quiet and restful in the evenings.The space is as small as one would expect but clean and usable.」

「Our floor was on the second floor and there was no elevator to go the second floor and the stairs were so narrow. Imagine having to carry luggage up narrow steps. The bath towels were so little and thin so bring your own, which you shouldn’t have to. On the plus side, it was roomy and had a washer and dryer. Quiet neighborhood and not too far from the train station. It was clean but very dated. Fridge and freezer worked great and it had two air conditioning units. 」

「Super cool, clean and spacious. All the amenities were well stocked. Great kitchen space. Great laundry area. Great sleeping area. The host was very kind and held an umbrella for me while I loaded my bags into a cab. No issues as a non Japanese speaking person. 10/10 don’t stay anywhere else if you are looking for this neighborhood 」
