This is an average European type hotel. We asked for a cliset and a window that opened and they accommodated us, very nice. The one thing that stands out is the free breakfast and a free evening meal. Never had that occur before. We really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely staff, disappointing room
It was a lovely stay all together. However, there were a few downsides. The hotel is placed in city center, so the noise levels during the night from Saturday to Sunday were quite disruptive. The suit itself was also underwhelming. We got a superior suit, but it didn't have any additional amenities. The bathroom was very small and the toilet was awkwardly placed. We're quite tall people and our knees were hitting the wall inffront of us. The room was spacious, but not decorated with functionailty in mind, making the room look empty and not well put together. I would recommend just booking a normal room as you will get the same quality, for less money. The staff was lovely though!

Nice overall stay
We spilled some soda on the bedsheets, and asked the receptionist for new sheets, and he wouldn't give us new ones since we just checked in the day before, and came up with an excuse that he was alone and couldn't change it. I got new bedsheets at the end, and we had to change it ourselves, but come on! Breakfast and dinner was included. Dinner was nice, but breakfast could've been better.

Pleasantstay, if only for just one night
We stayed here for one night while visiting the town to see a concert. Although we didn’t spend a lot of time at the hotel, we really didn’t want to leave the next morning. We could easily see ourselves staying here again. Great service with meals served throughout the day and clean rooms. Great location, too, with a record store down the street and bars all around.

771/5000 It was a terrific room with great service, but I was more pleased with her who was in the prescription last time. She who worked last time told what you should know, without having to ask. Those who worked in the restaurant were very nice :) Clean room and good heat in the bathroom and inside the room as the bed was on :) What I missed in the room was a fridge to store some drinks in, iron and ironing board and a phone to to call down to the prescription. This is because you never know when you need help for the day or night. Perhaps some extra sackcloth.A slightly larger tv because I do not look so good, but otherwise very satisfied mostly. Just wanted to say what could have been better so you got my words about it, Sincerely, Marianne

My third stay in this hotel. I chose a small single room this time - which was perfectly functional though a bit of a squeeze in the bathroom. No safe or kettle in the room I chose. But did have a TV. Useful to have a free evening meal offered by the hotel - which saves money as meals out are not cheap. Dinner was good enough - not very exciting and with no desert. Breakfasts are comprehensive and tasty. The hotel is quiet and located in the centre of town - 5 mins from the train station. Recommended - similar to Victoria Hotel nearby, but the Clarion is maybe a little bit more plush.

301 er virkelig et fantastisk rom hvor man får muligheten til å koble helt av og nyte hotellfølelsen fra første sekund! De ansatte er imøtekommende og behjelpelige fra øyeblikket du kommer inn hovedinngangen. Nydelig mat, og fantastisk gode kaker, blir servert på ettermiddag/kveld! Jeg snek med meg noen kakestykker opp på rommet som jeg koste meg med mens jeg koblet av med serier og et langt og varmt bad😇 Jeg angrer på at jeg noen gang valgte andre hoteller når jeg har bodd i Hamar tidligere! Om jeg skal skrive noe negativt så må det være at sengen var en smile hard😅 Kunne godt ha oppgradert til en litt bedre seng, men det blir småpirk.
