The hotel was wonderful. We loved the attic room with the cool air coming through the window. However the area around the hotel didn’t feel safe. It was close to the main train station which is why we chose it. I would not be going out after dark in that neighbourhood.

I wouldn't hesitate to give this a rating of 0 or below zero if possible. The reception staff are truly terrible troublemakers with no respect for customers. Consider checking elsewhere, as they're always trying to extract money, offering various excuses. I don’t recommend it to anyone seeking a decent and enjoyable time in the city. The place is filled with drunkards and drug dealers. Now you have the information you need.

We paid for 2 double beds and ensuite, but were but in a room with one double bed and the bathroom was down the corridor. When we went to reception the next day, we were told reception was closed. Even the man was there. The room was fine but annoying as we had paid extra for the convenience of having an ensuite and 2 beds and didnt get it.

The shower had mold all over it we didn’t even shower at all !!! It was dirty we found a key in the bed !! Outside disgusting garbage everywhere and a lot of drunks was outside the main door ! Check in is not in the same building would be nice if they tell u this when u book we had to Carry 6 suitcases back and forth ! Elevator only goes to 4th floor last floor u have to carry ur luggage !! We had to open the window because it was hot in there and outside was loud music we had to listen to !!

Never got to the hotel! My original search was "hotel in Hamburg with free airport shuttle".. Check in Hamburg was located in an area where we thought we could see quite a bit of the city walking in an afternoon, evening and morning before our flight to London. When the contact number was called I was curtly told that they did not have an airport shuttle. Asking to cancel, again curtly informed it was prepaid and non-refuindable, to contact Expedia about a refund.

Warnung: Noch nie so schlecht behandelt worden in einem Hotel! Hier sollte man ausschließlich einchecken wenn man gar keine Ansprüche hat! Maximal für eine Nacht nach dem Feiern geeignet. Unser Aufenthalt war eine Katastrophe. Das Zimmer entsprach nicht der Buchung, es fehlte ein Bett. Das Badezimmer war über den Flur, die Garderobe an der Tür war abgebrochen, die Temperaturen ohne offenes Fenster nicht zu ertragen. Für die Probleme mit dem Zimmer interessierte sich das Personal vor Ort nicht weiter. Es wäre nicht Ihr Problem, das von mir gebuchte Zimmer gäbe es so gar nicht, das Problem schien bekannt, aber es Bestand kein Interesse uns irgendwie entgegenzukommen. Eine Geschäftsführung - welche wir dann sprechen wollten - würde es angeblich nicht geben, nur eine Buchhaltung, welche nur per Mail erreichbar war. Ich musste dann eine dreiviertel Stunde mit dem Kundendienst von Expedia telefonieren um wenigstens eine kleine Teilerstattung zu erhalten. Auf meine Anfrage bezüglich des Zimmers reagiert die Buchhaltung des Hotels seit einer Woche nicht. Die vor Ort zu entrichtende Summe entsprach ebenfalls nicht dem, was ich errechnet habe. Je nach dem wie sich der Betrag zusammensetzt waren es wahlweise ca. 5€ oder ca. 40€ zu viel. Die Zahlung wurde mir nicht Quittiert. Auf nachfrage konnte (oder wollte) mit die Rezeptionistin keine Angaben zur genauen Zusammensetzung der Summe machen. Auf eine entsprechende Rechnung von der Buchhaltung warte ich ebenfalls seit einer Woche.

Ich würde das Hotel eher ein Motel nennen. Neben den beiden Doppelbetten gab es einen Stuhl, einen sehr klebrigen Tisch, einen TV mit Bildfehler und Haken an der Zimmertür mit 4 Kleiderbügeln. Keinen Schrank, Nachtschränkchen oder ähnliches. Der Teppichboden und die Vorhänge haben auch schon Mal bessere Zeiten gehabt. Die Dusche ist offen ohne Tür oder Vorhang und somit setzt man gezwungenermaßen das ganze Bad unter Wasser. Bei 24°C Außentemperatur wird es ordentlich warm im Zimmer, weil die Sonne sehr draufknallt. Der Fahrstuhl hat häufiger in manchen Etagen die Türen nicht geöffnet, es gibt aber ein Treppenhaus was wir dann häufiger genutzt haben. Die Rezeption war ein paar Häuser entfernt und die Angestellten wirkten sehr gestresst und wollten einen schnell wieder loswerden. Wir hatten ein 4 Bett Zimmer und waren mit 3 Personen dort, aber es gab leider nur einen Schlüssel. Man braucht den Schlüssel für das Zimmer, den Fahrstuhl und um in das Gebäude zu kommen. Die Gegend ist nicht die beste und sicherste und es ist auch Nachts meistens sehr laut. Wir waren nur zum Schlafen dort, daher war es in Ordnung, auch wenn man Nachts häufiger Mal wach geworden ist von Sirenen und lautem Geschrei. Dafür ist die Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel dort super. Man erreicht innerhalb von 5 min U-Bahn, S-Bahn und den Bus und auch fußläufig ist vieles gut erreichbar. Außerdem bekommt man auch spät Abends im Supermarkt und beim Imbiss/ Kiosk/ Gemüsestand noch etwas zu essen.
