The place was really nice and beds were confortable, relatively quiet inside and the people there was nice and respectful. It was very convenient that the main train station is across the street. Although I like the concept of separating the shower and toilet in the room, but it was very small and tight and was hard to change in them.

There was a wait at both check in and check out, they needed more staff on shift. The bar closed quite early. The bathroom was very small, and the water wasn't that hot.

Perfect for 1 night stay

The Generator hostel is across the road from the train station which was very convenient for us. Check in was slow as there we many people checking in at the same time, rooms are small but clean, bathroom is tiny but still useable. Breakfast was 9 euro, there are laundry facilities for 6 euro. There are plenty of restaurants within a 10 minute walk. For our 1 night stay this hostel is perfect

This hostel is right next to the train station so it’s very convenient for travel. The area is a little chaotic but very typical for areas around train stations. The room was clean, the beds were comfy, and the facilities were decent. Was able to utilize the laundry room and the bar area. The bathroom was super tiny and smelled a bit like sewage but totally fine for a night or two. There is a popular shopping area nearby and we were able to visit the Christmas markets.

Pros : location near central station which is a chaotic area at all hours. Cons; cleanness of the bathroom was not good. The constant noise outside due to location. Many young wild people being noisy in hallways. Limited towels.

部屋もきれいだし、シャワー/トイレは各部屋ごとだしで、基本的には不満はありませんでした。 外がうるさいとのレビューがありましたが、部屋によるかもしれません。 僕が泊まった6階の部屋は特にうるさいと感じませんでした。 一方で、ホステル付近はイスラム系の人々が集まる繁華街が近いため、2階、3階とかだとうるさく感じるかもしれません。 ランドリーは一応あるには有りました。 洗濯、乾燥でそれぞれ5€とのことでした。 キッチンは無いので、ご飯は外から調達するしかありません。

Lovely, Convenient, Spacious

This was one of the easiest hostel experiences I've ever had. The building is in the heart of the city, right next to the bus stop and the train station. Check-in was an absolute breeze, and the people at the desk were very friendly and able to answer any questions. There is an elevator, and the room was large and spacious. The bathroom was very clean, I had a great view of the street. The only downside is that it's a 45 min walk down to the marina. Other than that, highly recommend.

It’s so f*** hot in this place, it’s almost impossible to sleep. Also, they booked me, solo-traveling female who arrived late at night, in a room with four men. And no, there was no all-female dorm available, other wise I would have booked it. And no, the hostel wasn’t full - so they could have booked me in either an empty dorm or one that had at least one other woman.

Die Lage ist spitze und für einen Nacht kann man das schon buchen. Länger würde ich nicht bleiben. Die Zimmer sind abgewohnt, das Fenster war kaputt und lies sich nicht schließen, das Bad ist eine Zelle die an ein Dixi Klo erinnert und auch so riecht, der Fön war defekt. Das Frühstück war ok, die Hygiene allerdings mangelhaft. Das Besteck war und die Teller waren nicht sauber. In Buffet waren die Brötchen mit einem roten Gelee verschmutzt ebenso waren im Obstsalat Joghurtspuren. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Unterkunft ein Hostel mit Privatzimmer (kein Schlafsaal) gut mit Bad etwas eng, für Hamburg Zentrum noch günstig mit Bad, komfort ok halt ein Hostel hat alles gepasst Personal sehr Freundlich etwas jünger und wenns nicht stört mit Jugendslang, mit drei sicheren Fahrrad Abstellplätzen in den man nur mit Schlüssel im Hinterhof rein kommt und sicher abstellen kann halt offen. An sich tolles Zimmer und größe 15m² zu dritt mit vier einzelbetten in Hamburg normal. Auch der Lärm trotz dicker Scheiben zur Hauptseite ins Hamburg Zentrum muss man damit rechnen, die Scheibe gut gemeint wegs Lärm hat jetzt nicht zuviel gebracht und deswegen kann Wasser und Luft nicht richtig zirkulieren raus und rein wird eher verdampfen/dämpfig bei hitze merkt im Zimmer egal ob Fenster zu oder auf ist extreme Hitze im Zimmer nicht vermeidbar unangenehme nacht für uns drei schlechter Schlaf, dafür dirket im Zentrum und Abends auch groser Nachteil, am dem Hostel Generaror tummeln sich merkwürdig Personen welche einen komisch ansprechen aber andere Unterkünfte in Hamburg zentrum leider ähnliche Probleme gelesen vor der Buchen. War schon mal mit Freunden hier damals Herbst & kühler jetzt würde Ich nicht nochmal hier buchen da damals auch an der Eingangstüre strasenlebende Personen welche einen ansprechen eher unangenehm, wenn das nicht stört und meidet und hier buchen sonst besser was anders suchen, eher kleine Betten, komfort ok halt ein Hostel, schlicht nix besonderes Handtücher kosten zehn Euro/Person.
