A renovated older motel, the owners have focused on the essentials: an excellent bed - mattress and pillows - and shower, while keeping the otherwise well-worn rooms very clean. Within walking distance of varied restaurants and McMaster University, if you enjoy walking as I do.
For a quick one nighter, this is a great hotel. Low cost, no frills. Going to a concert? Perfect. Pay lower cost here and take a taxi. Just in the city for work, so late check in early check out? Ideal place. But don’t expect luxury, it was clean but a bit dated.
Staff were super accommodating, on-site parking free and plentiful. Room was clean, A/C was a tad noisy but functional. Iwas looking for a place to stay while scouting out waterfalls for a spring photo trip, will be back. Recommend this property
The room was stuffy and smelled of something! Shower had very dirty grout, heater was semi detached fron the wall. Bathroom Door held together around the bottom with red tuck tape, doors were dirty and very worn. Staff were helpful. Easy access to rooms.
The parking lot is large and parking is right in front of the room, That is a huge bonus. The check in staff was most friendly and knowledgeable. She walked me to the room I had reserved and demonstrated how to use the amenities and gave good instructions regarding checkout.
The bed was comfortable and I slept soundly till the alarm rang.
Checkout was great and there was a nice little restaurant up the road where I had breakfast and got on with my day.
It is well worth the money paid.
The room was very clean. Very pleasant staff. Water pressure was very low. Room had fridge and microwave which was very helpful. Parking was easy. They are in the process of installing Mini splits for the A/C which will be perfect once done.
Clean room. Parking is safe. Air conditioning is perfect. Overall a good stay.

The Staff were excellent. The hotel room was adequate. The towels were dirty upon arrival and had to be replaced. The Staff were super helpful and replaced them promptly. It is a good place to stay for a few days on a budget. The baseboards and floors could use some renovation as well as the rusty showers. The bed was clean.
It's small, family-run motel close to the University. It's not fancy, but it is clean, reliable and in a good location. The bathroom could use some hooks, and the toilet is a little small, but manageable. Someone has put a lot of effort into landscaping the grounds. If you are in need of a budget room, this place works.
What a welcoming and helpful staff at this small Inn. Comfortable and clean and accommodating for smokers with a chair outside your room and a butt can or ashtray. Airconditioning worked well, fridge and microwave in the room to. Close to a plaza and was close to our event. I would definitely go back.
I would have liked to see coffee available for guests in the rooms. The rooms were immaculate. The staff wad very pleasant. I asked for an extra pillow and was given it. The air conditioning was amazing. I enjoyed my stay. The showers were amazing as well with great water pressure.
I really enjoyed Haven, they're very nice people and the environment is friendly and quiet. I strongly recommend the place for anyone having a stay in Hamilton.
Very basic room but great if you're looking for economy. It was clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

A basic motel which is reflected in the price, it was clean and tidy, daily room service was available if required, if you just need a bed for a couple of nights and don’t want to pay stupid money then this place is okay
