Disappointing House in Burlington!
The property was disappointing, my family had rented it initially for 3 months and the day we arrived we were not impressed with the home. The inside photos do represent the house, the house seemed clean, the furniture is old and I had bring over table lamps as there were none in the living room. When we started to open closets and drawers we found them to be full of other peoples belongings, we even found two empty bottles of gin under one of the beds. The pantry had opened bags of food, which worried us as we have a nephew with allergies, the kitchen drawers were a shambles no care had been taken to present the place as un-lived in. We felt we were living in someone else's home. The yard was a "jungle" with broken down fences, overgrown shrubs and trees. I sat in a garden chair and went straight through it, the outside furniture was so shabby we did not have a decent place to relax outside. Eventually a table was brought to the property by the garden team that was trying hard to look after a very overgrown yard. The owner did try to rectify the situation by bringing in a yard team and he did deliver some Indian food as a token of good faith, but in all honesty it was too little too late.This home has potential but is not being cared for to the standard it should be and is certainly not worth the money we paid for it!
