The kitchen was super stocked with dishes, pots, utensils, etc. But the lake front is what really makes this property outstanding. The lake itself is scenic, quiet, and amazingly clean. "This was right on the lake with a dock. There is a wonderful, comfy porch overlooking the pretty lake where you can read and relax! Fishing is a must!! Good and fun. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation as advertised. There is a campfire setup which was a nice way to wind down. The caretakers and the owner were responsive and very nice people!! We boated Black Lake and the St. Lawrence. Thousand Island was half an hour from there-spent time in Alexandria Bay!!...

"I stayed at Melissa's sweet cabin while visiting my daughter at St Lawrence Univ for the weekend. Our check in was easy, the place was lovely, private and clean. The cabin is right on the river and over coffee the next morning sitting on the dock I saw huge fish (trout? salmon? I have no idea), an adorable mink playing in the water and a bald eagle overhead. It feels like an old cabin that has been expanded a few times - a plywood floored entrance way that was added on holds outdoor activity equipment, a washer and dryer and the trash cans. "We had a great stay at this house. The home had all we needed for our 6 day stay. Plenty of beds and chill space for everyone. The location and river access were great. It is a hike to get to the river but we were aware of that from the property details. We visited off season so we weren’t getting in the water but it would have been perfect water access if it were summer. Ed and Karina were attentive and responsive but we had no issues.
