Great price and location
Great place. We were able to have a short weekend there due to the arrival of the hurricane. The staff is courteous, the location is great, the place is fairly priced. Thanks again!

The staff was amazing. The property was beautiful and immaculate. It was located about 5 minutes from town, on a marina, close to the bay and beaches. We were in a cottage with a shared porch. The ambience was friendly and homely. There were about 16 cottages so definitely not crowded (a plus). You are responsible for maintaining your cottage. Cleaning service came in once during our six day stay. Crockery and utensils were provided as well as daily muffins and croissants. You can replenish your towels in the office. For someone used to staying in hotels, it was a unique experience. I would return and I highly recommend this property.

Had a beautiful stay! Staff was amazing, rooms extraordinarily clean!!! Loved that. The croissants and muffins for breakfast a great touch. Fruit in the room, even better. Already booked another stay!!!!!

Great Stay Overall
Stayed here for the labor day weekend with my girlfriend and saw that it’s by the beach (5 min drive) so chose this place. Really enjoyed our stay. Spent most of the time either at the beach, or nearby restaurants (there are a lot of great nearby restaurants. However when at the property, the wifi wasn’t connecting properly for some reason. Probably because there were too many people connected. So my girlfriend and I stayed there without any internet. It wasn’t much of a problem since we had LTE. Other than that, great stay and the staff is very nice.

Really enjoyed my stay at the Drake. Extremely nice staff, rooms are great and come as advertised, quiet area but not too far away from beaches, restaurants, etc. Will definitely come back again.

Likes - Property very clean and well kept. Staff very friendly. Rooms very clean. Back grass area very nice to sit and eat/drink. Front patios has table chairs to sit outside. Dislikes - Unit was "overly modern." One bedroom unit very tiny. Small TV in living room. No TV in bedroom. No bathroom counter space. Bedroom hot (no AC or fan). Couch was extremely uncomfortable. No paper towels. Shower never got "hot."

My family and I really enjoyed ourselves during our stay. As my daughter said -- "big fan of the Drake" The room was immaculate and very comfortable. The location was wonderful. And cant forget about the complimentary muffins delivered to our room each morning :)

Good stay
Was a nice stay. It was a little expensive just for a quick one night stay and no time to enjoy the facilities much however it is summer and prime time. Nice area, WiFi at the waterfront Rooms could be stronger.

Very nice property on a quiet street on the canal. Very clean looked brand new but said a few years old comfortable only thing was no air conditioner in bedroom so that room was a little warm but if you kept bedroom door open some of the cool air got in there. Came with breakfast would definitely stay again

Everything Is Awesome
The Drake Inn is the single most cutest place to go when you're in need of a spot to crash with good views. The inn is walking distance from the ocean, simple and modern and very clean.

Dear Matt, to elaborate on this situation, your reservation was made the night of your arrival, making the reservation Non-refundable. During the 4 nights that you stayed with us right across from the office, the issue was never brought up to any of the staff members, Unfortunately, we never received any verbal, email, call, or notification from Hotels.com where you made the reservation. we can not rectify a situation that we are not aware of.

Nice spot
Stayed for three nights on a visit to LI. Room was comfortable, clean, well equipped (except that we would have liked a kettle and toaster). It's in a lovely spot by the water and convenient for lots of restaurants (we had great food). Also a great spot for visiting the Hamptons and the eastern island. The pool was out of use which had it been the weather from a couple of days before would have been a major disappointment. Morning muffins/croissants were delicious. Wi-fi disappointing, had trouble connecting and didn't seem to want more than two items connected at a time. Otherwise a very enjoyable stay

Relaxing end of Summer weekend
My husband and I waited to book a trip for Labor Day weekend in the Hamptons. I was told the Drake Inn was renovated and a lovely place to spend a vacation. My friends were right the studio was cozy and comfortable the bed linens and towels white and crisp. We received complementary warm muffins every morning. Location was perfect for us, close to the bridge for Dune road and the beaches. A walk to a lovely breakfast and lunch place and very convenient to the Main St of Hampton Bays. Most of all central to our many friends that we like to visit when we’re there!

Peaceful getaway in great location
The Drake Inn was a beautiful retreat in a convenient location. The room was comfortable, the scenery was beautiful, and we were able to enjoy bars, restaurants, and beaches. There was an issue with our door and A/C but management was helpful. Highly recommended.

Very modern, great use of the space in the suites, and provided just about everything you could possibly need in the room. Anything else, we were able to get at the office. The only recommendation would be to have earlier opening hours for the pool and a later close.

Private and clean! Loved how great we slept. Bed was very comfortable. The only downfall was we are early risers and no one was in office until 9 am and they close at 6. I didn't have internet and missed the fresh muffins every morning because we were out to the US Open. Great location. One bedroom suite is perfect for a couple but I wouldn't have another guest stay.

The only problem was the very, very poor internet connection. Otherwise it was a truly lovely place with wonderful staff. It is quite small, maybe a dozen semidetached bungalows. Great location and a boat dock in the back. I had to sit outside just opposite the office to get an internet connection. If I went inside I lost the connection.

Quiet inn away from the crowds
Very nice accommodations just off Hampton Bays. It's a 2 minute drive to the beach, and the hotel will drive you over if you wish. Friendly staff delivers pastries to your room every morning. It's not in an area where you can walk to restaurants or shops, but the drive to get there is not bad. The price was more reasonable than other hotels in the area just before Labor Day, which is peak season.
