Some friends and I went away for a birthday weekend. House was well kept very close to all the actions the only thing bad I can say is it smelled a little musty other than that good place to stay

I LOVED the Starfish cottage. This little cottage is cozy and well laid out with 3 bedrooms, a nice kitchen, and a small bathroom, nice shower! It was clean and neat- ignore some of the negative comments, as you shouldnt expect the ritz carlton! It was wonderful that it was pet friendly and having a marsh/bay at the end of the street to walk the dogs to was convenient. The location of this unit is EVERYTHING. walking distance to all bars restaurants and a skip to the beach. It was really quiet during our stay, nice lock on the door that means you dont have to carry keys. The property owner was WONDERFUL in accommodating me. I cant wait to come back next year if it will still be available. Thank you so much for sharing your home :-)

Relaxing Time Away August 23-29th
When we walked into the cottage house was clean, definitely needs more AC's in unit. the main one kept shutting on and off. the beds were not comfortable at all the main bedroom the mattress was very uncomfortable, the other mattresses were very hard to sleep on. The kitchen needs new pots and pans (the ones provided were very old and had scratches on them) The location was great though. right near everything. We had a great time just wish it would have been cooler and the mattresses should be newer.

Good spot. Close to everything. Decent size cottage
Ok. experience but cottage does need some things. Twin beds are very wobbly and do not feel safe. , door to that room sticks badly and tough to open door to room once closed. Floors are in definite need of rehab as they are damaged, a/Cs work ok. Damaged fridge that looks like crap because of huge dent, should have garbage disposal, shower hot is actually cold and cold is hot, mattress in large bedroom is absolutely terrible as it has a huge sunk in area in the middle. The Pull out sofa bed mattress is terrible , all the dresser drawers stick badly and open crooked , and outdoor railing to walk up the stairs to cottage is very wobbly and not Secure.

Unit dirty and small
Arrived and unit was not clean and one bedroom closet stunk of urine. Could not sleep in it. “Patio” listed full of bird poop. Comforters smelled on beds and one bed has urine stains on mattress pad. Photos on site very deceiving. Only positive is a close walk to the beach. Would not stay here again:

Hi Julie, we want our guests to arrive at a vacation home that is 100% ready for their stay, so we take the cleanliness of our properties seriously! We passed your feedback onto the homeowner, who wanted to share the following: - Our cottages are thoroughly cleaned before each reservation. Our cleaning crew did not detect any smell whatsoever. - We also inspected the unit right after your check out and didn't detect any smells. However, we take this seriously and bought extra air fresheners as a precaution. - The mattress pads were brand new as of June, and upon inspection, there are no urine stains. The comforters are also laundered. - We take cleanliness and hygiene as a top priority and ask that guests reach immediately with any issues so that we can address concerns quickly for a more comfortable stay. We pride ourselves on our positive ratings, and we enjoy staying at the property ourselves as well. We will continue to work hard to provide all our guests with a five-star experience.

Perfect getaway
This was a great property for what we needed. They allowed pets and the price was reasonable. Super easy check-in and immediate response from management when we had a question. Very clean and supplied everything we needed as described. The cottage was better than I expected, pictures on line do not do this little gem justice. We stayed for 2 nights and hoping to book for a longer stay next summer!

We liked the property and would probably stay again. The outdoor area was very small and pretty much unusable. The beds were exactly as they sounded in the listing- the pull out couch bed was very comfy! There was dog poop on the walkway and lipstick marks on a bunch of the glasses in the cabinet, but overall it was a positive experience! Walkable to the beach and the strip very easily!

Perfect for us...
My sister and I brought our 4 young children to this property and it was perfect for us. We were just a short walk from the beach and a number of different options for restaurants. The communication with the property manager was phenomenal and we were able to get our questions answered in no time at all! I highly recommend this property if you're looking to visit Hampton Beach!

We had a wonderful stay at this clean, cute cottage! Nicely stocked kitchen with extra fridge space. Beds were comfortable. Very walkable location to beach, shops, restaurants and bars. Loved the dead end road for the kids to explore. The only thing it lacked was a washer/dryer.... could have used especially with 3 small children. Hoping to stay again!

Nice stay
This was a cute property to stay at. It had adequate sleeping spaces for everyone in my family (we had 3 adults and 3 kids), and there were extra cots if needed. Parking was on site, and it is only a block from the beach, so those were convenient perks. The owner was great and responded immediately via email when needed. There is a table with chairs directly outside of the property; however, they face the very close cottage next door, so we didn’t use the outdoor seating at all. The outside walkway is made of rocks, and when we arrived there were many loose nails scattered around the outside shower and stairway, which were hard to see because it is rocky. I picked up what I could find, but if you bring little kids, be mindful of that before letting them out to walk around barefooted. Overall, the owner was accommodating and the place was cute for a week’s stay. The four stars are because of the nails on the ground and the uncomfortable outdoor seating.
