"We enjoyed our stay at the woodlands. The location couldn’t have been more convenient to Colonial Williamsburg - the visitor’s center is next to the property where you can purchase tickets, get on the shuttle, or walk into CW. The amenities were great, we enjoyed breakfast, the grounds were lovely, and there were many activities for families. The pool was crowded but warm.
Our room (a king suite) was spacious, which made up for the lack of comfort. The mattress was old and hard, and the pull out mattress was so old it was broken and worn nearly through. The noise from the air conditioner was constant and kept us up from the incredibly loud noises.
Despite the shortfalls, we wild stay here again due to the positives."
