The resort was lovely in every way; on the beach, had vans that would take you back and forth to town, beautiful setting, well decorated suites, and helpful staff. We loved our room so much that we cooked in two nights instead of eating out; we had the best view right from our room!

The property is in a lovely location with views of both the ocean and the mountains. The staff was friendly and attentive. The complimentary shuttle was really convenient and we used it frequently in order to avoid having to find parking. The onsight restaurant is amazing and the coffee shop perfect for our needs. We loved the beauty and peace of the property. The newly renovated pool was also a nice place to spend time. Unfortunately, the jacuzzi was out of order the entire week we were there.

The property was built in the late 60’s and was very laid back. It was nice having no electronics, leaving us free to direct our attention to the beautiful landscape and ocean view. We read lots of books. It was idyllic.

An excellent spot in a beautiful location. Lovely Hawaiian staff who couldn’t do enough for us. A lovely pool for the grandchildren and a convenient shuttle bus to local beaches or shops. Very quiet and relaxed.

I did not realize there was no TV in my room when we choose this place.Nobody told us there was a possible hurricane coming our way, until my mom in the USA called me. The grounds are nice but the compound is old and run down I would never stay there again. Better off closer to town as you have to drive everywhere. Its expensive and not worth it.

It was a nice quiet resort with not a lot of people around which was nice for our honeymoon. I didn’t realize how far north the resort is and far from a lot of the activities we wanted to do. The unit was perfect for us but it definitely was outdated. The main bathroom shower head was terrible. It was really close to a private beach but not really safe for swimming due to the waves.

These 1960s style units have been recently upgraded. The upgrades keep the unique architectural layout of the open plan with sliding doors that offer temporary rooms within each unit. Great location. Close to snorkeling beach. Cafe next door. Also a restaurant.

Make sure you know what you are getting. An ocean view room is really a garden view unless you go outside. An ocean front room is really an ocean view. The only ocean front rooms are PREMIER ocean front….
