「Room was too outdated. Staff were fantastic, Didn’t have to use the hot tub and spa. Parking charges is ridiculously expensive although knew that per booking. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet every day to start our day and had a great time mainly relaxing by the pool and walks on the beach. 」

「The view from the studio is superb! We also enjoyed the easy access to the beach via a short walk down the hill on a paved trail. Lots of birds are always around and numerous nene geese are almost always present. Excellent communication makes for a seamless experience. The restaurants on site are really good and should be considered during your stay. Nice to have AC, but we didn’t need it. We will return!」

「The ground floor unit was lovely! It was as described, kitchen had everything you needed, appliances were newer, clean throughout. Bed was a king size and comfortable. 「The place was very clean and amenities provided were excellent! It was great to have beach gear (towel, cooler, chairs). The bathrooms and bedrooms were very accommodating for a family of five! The hosts were very quick to answer questions. The only reason for 4 stars was that the place overlooked the parking lot which I wasn't aware of. 」

Joan certainly does not oversell when she says the view of her condo is absolutely breath taking. It certainly is all of that and then some. "Great value stay in Kauai, especially for families. This is probably the best value hotel we’ve stayed at in Hawaii. It’s not a luxury resort, but it offers everything you need. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained without feeling outdated. The location is a huge plus. It’s close to the airport and within easy walking distance to Coconut Marketplace, where you can find restaurants and a grocery store. Not needing to drive for meals or snacks was extremely convenient. The hotel’s restaurant, Lava Lava Beach Club, is also delicious and worth trying. One of the most memorable moments of our stay was spotting a monk seal resting right on the beach in front of the hotel—such a special and unexpected experience. A couple of small things could be improved: the shower pressure in our room was a bit weak, and the public microwave in the lobby wasn’t very easy to find. Overall, this hotel is a great option for families. Our 2-year-old had a wonderful time here, and we would happily stay again on our next trip to Kauai."
