Diana is an excellent, responsive host. The cabin was exactly as described. Walk out the back deck and you are at the river. The cabin is very clean, beautifully decorated, and contains everything you could possibly need for a relaxing weekend. We will definitely be going back.

We were happy when we arrived at the cabin, looked just like photos. The master bedroom is huge, bed was very comfortable. The views are beautiful out of every window especially the kitchen. Saw eagles and deer by the river. Water was cold but got in. Only complaint was the area going into the river, not really a beach. Had a nice visit.

This trip was phenominal. The beauty of the mountains and the river from the deck and fire pit kept me smiling.the whole time. Bald eagles, fish jumping in the river, butterflies and humming birds! The cabin is so well supplied in the kitchen, blankets for outside use for those chilly nights. The beds are so comfy! And speaking to her was like talking to an old friend♥

This location was idyllic- so quiet and peaceful. The River is right at your feet - you can wade in and fish. We saw an osprey eating a fish in a tree, bald eagles and many kingfishers. Deer visited one day.
The cottage is clean and comfortable. We were delighted that the BBQ was such great quality - a bonus.
The master was so comfortable with stunning river views.
The sectional on the deck was perfect for lounging. We plan to return.

House is as advertised and shown in the photos. Very clean. Beautiful location right on the river. Nice deck. Fire pit and chairs right on river bank. Diana was a gracious host who made communication and check in a very easy process. Would definitely stay here again.

If you’re looking for a place to go and relax, this is the place! We choose this cabin to stay for our Honeymoon. We loved the look of the cabin from the outside as well as the layout on the inside. Only wish the bathroom was larger. My husband is 6’4 so it was a little tight for him in the tub/shower. The MBR was huge and was nice overlooking the deck and river. We saw the bald eagle everyday going up and down the river. A few times I would see the eagle from the kitchen window and follow him along the river. Loved having a washer and dryer. We hope to be able to return for our first anniversary. Jean & Mike

The riverside location was perfect. The cabin has everything you could need. The outside deck had plenty of chairs as did the riverside and fire pit area. We saw eagles every day flying past the cabin, over the river even perching in the trees directly across the river from the cabin. Would definitely recommend this cabin to others.

Spent a wonderful few days here escaping from all the beach crowds to fly fish and enjoy the peace n quiet of Hancock, NY and the Western Branch of Delaware River. The location is perfect and the Cabin is equipped with all u need. Diane was very easy to communicate with and we plan to return in the future. This place is a keeper!!?

The house is in an outstanding location if you like quiet, rivers and trout fishing. A well-stocked kitchen, a good shower and comfortable beds make the place special. The deck, with its many chairs, hammock and view of the river, is a great place to enjoy your morning coffee or your evening libation. Actually, I think we spent more time on the deck than we did in the house! I can only hope I have the opportunity to return in the future.

We had such a relaxing time here at this beautiful home even though the weather was cold and rainy. We made the best of it with lots of Netflix, games and puzzles. Especially loved the lounger sofa. We had a heat issue upon arrival and Diana attended to it immediately which we appreciated greatly and the rest of the time it was toasty warm. The kitchen is fully stocked as others have noted with plenty of dishes, bowls, cutting boards, utensils, etc. You just need to bring your basics like sugar, spices, condiments, etc.
We enjoyed exploring nearby Roscoe and Livingston Manor which has a lovely natural food market, Fare Haven Farmacy and a great gourmet pizza restaurant, The Kaatskeller that has a cool outdoor dining area, perfect for summer nights.
A great trip, hope to come back again!

Location was wonderful. Quiet neighborhood, great deck and pretty land. Enjoyed deck time in the fall.
Comfy couches and big enough kitchen to cook nice family meals.
It has a charcoal grill which I didn't like because I'm not use to using one. There was nothing wrong with it, just me!
I would rent this cabin again.

This house is a true gem and my parents and I really enjoyed it (as did our dogs). We had rain 8 of the 10 days but we made the best of it (a lot of prime video & Netflix). The wrap around deck is awesome and you could spend all day and evening out there for sure. There's a grocery store a mile away and a diner (as NJ food snobs we were thankful for Diana's suggestion to get the pizza it was very good) as well as a take out Chinese which was pretty darn good. Everything else is a bit of a drive which I guess you should assume given it's the Catskills. I love to swim/float in water all day long and hadn't anticipated that a river never really heats up like a lake does (my bad) but those braver than I could certainly enjoy the water. I still took a dip in it on those hot sunny days to cool off. The layout of the house is great and the kitchen has many of the basics to cook meals (it could use some spices and measuring spoons/cups). We blew a fuse in the kitchen and Diana had someone over within the hour to fix it - she was always available for questions etc., If you fish I would assume this is the your mecca! Actually anyone who wants some peace & quiet surrounded by beauty should consider this rental. Thanks again Diana
