Big open layout, with waterview from almost every room in the home. Come and enjoy your vacation in this ocean waterfront home, watch the seals play, eagles soar, and many wild birds. A large deck runs the entire length of the home. We have a grill ready for you and lobster pot to cook the fresh lobster, clams & mussels. There are 10 kayaks, 3 canoes ready for you at the home waterfront. 2 complete kitchens and 2 laundrys, 4 King size beds 1 double 1 single and 1 futons and one double captains bed that sleeps 2. New for 2024 at last high speed Fidium Fiber internet 1 Gig upload and download! Playcenter and big playhouse for the kids. Salt water Hot Tub, fire-pit, horseshoes, kayaks with paddles and life jackets all sizes, etc... Also in 2022 new lake property if this home is booked Heart Lodge in Orland Maine about 25 minutes away VRBO# 2595458.

On the Lamoine ,Hancock line. major golf course in Bar Harbor, shopping centers and hospital. 30 minutes from Acadia National Park. One of the best locations so you don't get tied up in summer traffic on the island. This is up a long quiet road great for biking or walking. only 1.5 miles from Rt. 1 so you can have easy access to down east Maine as well. Many restaurants, parks, and many shops are all only 10 to 15 minutes away. Blunts pond and beach is only 5 miles away for fresh water swimming or Lamoine Beach is less than 10 minutes away with one of the few sand beaches in Maine. Picnic tables, grills , two level decks, hot tub, game/exercise room, fantastic views !

Great to have the hot tub on windy cold nights. Plenty of room for the 8 of us, Easy access to Acadia, Bar Harbor and Ellsworth. If you love the outdoors and want to come home to a nice cozy house with lots of games, and activities or just to relax, this is the spot.

We had a great stay. Thank you for allowing us to rent your place. The weather was perfect. We had plenty of space and the game room downstairs was great. The only change I would suggest is removing the photo and description of the dock leading out to the water. There is no dock/platform any longer and getting the boats out when the tide is receding is a bit of a challenge without a dock to walk on. Other than that everything was perfect and we had a great time. Thank you.

The home is very spacious with lots of room for our family gathering. We loved the location next to the lake with kayaks and close to Acadia National Park. The hot tub was amazing. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you could need for cooking.

Outstanding, well-carsd for home that was perfect for our family of 9! Used the hot tub, kayaks and canoe's, explored the coastline, played games in the gameroom, and definitely used the deck areas! We had a great time and this wonderful property. Stan was very responsive and helpful. The house is beautiful and the location and view on the water can’t be beat. We had 12 and had plenty of room to not be on top of each other. The kayaks were a great bonus.

This place was perfect. Our ages ranged from 10 yo to 78 yo and it was perfect for all of us. The house is stocked with everything one would need, plus so many amenities that just add to the activities available. The biggest hits for us were the kayaks and the hot tub! This was our second time staying and Stan and Theresa are the perfect hosts! You can't go wrong staying here.

Great family vacation home

Nice, large home perfect for our family consisting of six adults and five young men ages 14-20. Nicely furnished and kitchen equipped with everything we needed, including all the equipment we needed for our lobster dinner. Another bathroom would have been nice for the 11 of us, but we managed. We didn’t get to use the kayaks much because of the tide situation, which we’re not used to. A lot of wildlife was seen including the eagle whose nest was close to the house. Great, central location away from the crowds. Enjoyed quiet Schoodic Peninsula and the SW Harbor area, Ellsworth, as well as crowded Bar Harbor, Loop Road, Cadillac Mtn.

This is our 5th family (8-10 total) vacation and this was the best. House was awesome with activities for everyone in our group. The furniture was very comfortable with plenty of options. The kitchen was equipped with more than normal accessories and supplies. Beds were comfortable with multiple king size beds. Numerous outside activities for all ages. Location was perfect for Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Nice selection of restaurants and great lobster. If you are coming to Maine give this location a try!

Lots of room, very comfortable for a family. Absolutely enchanting to watch the birds as the tide changes. Wonderful outdoor area, but The cable railing on the deck wasn’t safe for our toddler. The cables were loose and spaced very far apart.

Huge Hancock House for Large Groups

This was the perfect property for our family trip. With 12 in our group there was something for everyone (kayaks, hot tub, fire pit, pool table, ping pong, and arcade games), and two kitchens and laundry rooms were very handy. Maine is gorgeous and Acadia National Park is stunning. Get there early to beat the crowds. Take the half hour drive to the Schoodic Peninsula (part of Acadia NP) but away from the crowds. Of course, the fresh lobster and seafood were delicious as expected. Thank you, Stan, for communicating so timely and helping us with several activity decisions.

Did everything we wanted!

Great house, perfect for 4 couples and 1 adult child. Everyone had their own space. The yard is the star: took advantage of the ocean front, kayak/canoes, fire pit, and view from the porch. Internet was great, we had 1 person working from the home's office on zoom meetings. Perfect location, far enough from the busyness of Bar Harbor, but easy to get in when needed. Half way between Schoodic and main Acadia. Downtown Ellsworth is so close for small downtown strolling and eating.

Exquisite home on a quiet cove, yet close to all that Acadia offers

One of our family's favorite vacation home rentals. The house is gorgeous and stocked with everything you could possibly need for the week. Our family really enjoyed the kayaks, wildlife on the cove, the salt water hot tub, and the game room. Spoke with 2 of the neighbors who were very friendly. Bar Harbor and Acadia only a quick 30 minute drive. Lots to do also in proximity to the house--would highly recommend the Tidal Falls Preserve for tidal pools, Lumberjack Show, and Wild Mountain Man Ray the chainsaw artist ( no longer does shows, but stop by his place and look at his art--he is quite a talker and story teller as well.Highly recommend this property, you will not be disappointed!

Our family travels to Maine every year and have stayed at this property multiple times. It is clean, has every amenity for young and old, Close to Bar Harbor and Acadia. We absolutely love this house. You will not be disappointed.

Roomy, Private with great amenities!

This is our second time staying at this property. It is very roomy, private, and clean. It has every amenity for old and young. It is about 30 minutes from Acadia NP, Bar Harbor, and Schoodic Peninsula. It is so nice to end the day of Acadia and Bar Harbor crowds, at this well- stocked private, quiet home. Stan, the owner, is very easy to work with.

Wonderful home, great location. One recommendation: list local tv stations and how to navigate Direct TV. Our house full of senior citizens had a very difficult time trying to figure out how to watch the TV’s.
