Small but functional apartment

This is a small apartment that is mostly one room with a small bathroom and a small bedroom off of it. It was tight for 4 people. The bed in the bedroom is for 2 people, but they will be cuddled up together as it is not a big bed. The couch bed is about the same size. There is a single Murphy bed, which when it and the couch are both pulled out make for a small area to walk in. Be aware there is NO internet or wifi! There is an indoor pool in the building which my children loved. The kitchen is very small, but functional and stocked with the cooking basics. Overall, we enjoyed our time there. The balcony is lovely!

Nice apartment in a lovely German Lakeside Town

A nice sized apartment on the 4th floor. The apartment has a cosy double bedroom with facilities for two pull out beds if required along with a modest Kitchen including Fridge, (but not Washing Machine). The Balcony overlooks the garden area of the Holiday Apartments with views of Steinhude Meer (the Lake). Angela the Owner along with her Mother were excellent Hosts, showing us around both the apartment & complex on our arrival to orientate ourselves with the facilities such as Free parking spot, swimming pool & Sauna, and despite our German not being up to much Angela was very helpful in providing advice & suggestions on where to visit in and around Steinhude & Hannover. We got to use the pool on our 3 day stay but unfortunately the Sauna was closed the day we tried to use it. Steinhude itself is lovely and at the time of our visit (Mid September) was pretty quiet, but still had other visitors around the town, it's Cafes & Restaurants. It was about a 10 minute walk from the apartment into town where most of the Cafes & Restaurants are situated. Overall a nice apartment with a brilliant hostess in a great little German lakeside town. We really enjoyed our stay & would definitely recommend both the apartment & a visit to a Steinhude. We had one of the best meals of our 3 week Holiday in Steinhude (another review) & hope to have a return visit sometime in the not too distant future. The only thing that could've improved our stay would have been WIFI access, mainly due to the fact we use it a lot in Germany when researching attractions/Restaurants etc. as neither of us are very fluent in German. Thank you Angela ( & your Mum).

Hallo, wir waren vom 28.12.2024- 1.01.2925 im Objekt Vogelnest am Steinhuder Meer bei Frau Busch zu Gast und haben uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt, uns stand für die vier Tage alles, was wir benötigten, zur Verfügung! Positiv war, daß wir die Sauna nutzen konnten, dies war der wohlige Ausgleich für das feuchtkalte Wetter. Wir kommen wieder ans Steinhuder Meer!MfGElke WendlerReservierung HA-38WCS7

Wunderschöne Tage am Steinhuder Meer

Wir hatten eine schöne Woche in der Fewo. Alles war so wie in der Anzeige beschrieben. Vom Balkon hatten wir einen tollen Ausblick aufs Meer und jeden Abend einen tollen Sonnenuntergang. Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder.

Hübsche kleine Wohnung

Frau Busch ist eine sehr nette Vermieterin. Es wurde alles sehr genau erklärt, es blieben keine Fragen offen. Die Wohnung ist hübsch eingerichtet, war sehr sauber und entspricht genau den Beschreibungen auf der Webseite. Die Aussicht vom Balkon auf das Steinhuder Meer ist traumhaft und wenn es nicht zu warm ist kann man dort bis(oder auch länger) zum Sonnenuntergang verweilen.

Es ist ein bisschen abgelegen wenn man die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten betrachtet. Allerdings fährt ein Bus. Es wäre schön, wenn die Tankstelle wenigstens Kaffeepulver zu verkaufen hätte, damit man am ersten Tag versorgt ist. Ich werde wiederkommen

Lage traumhaft, direkt am Steinhuder Meer, fußläufig von der Badeinsel Gepflegte Grünanlage hinterm Haus Wohnung in der 4. Etage, Lift vorhanden Späte Anreise nicht möglich, da persönliche Einweisung gefordert (kein Schlüsselkasten) Abgewohnt Wände brauchen Anstrich Bodenbelag in beige schlägt Wellen, darüber verschiedene Teppiche- für eine FeWo ungeeignet Schlafzimmer sehr eng - Bett nur von einer Seite zugängig, Fenster direkt darüber - der offene Fensterflügel steht direkt über dem, der am Fenster schläft Kücheneinrichtung praktisch und umfangreich Kühlschrank unten voller Schwarzschimmel Bad mit 70er Jahre-Charme in beige Zugehöriger Parkplatz sehr beengt, nur für Kleinwagen gut geeignet; alternative Parkflächen nicht vorhanden Alles in allem können wir die FeWo nicht empfehlen.

War vor vielen Jahren sicher mal schön.

Das Objekt an sich ist total in die Jahre gekommen und bedarf dringend einer Sanierung. Das Schwimmbad und die Sauna sind geschlossen, auf Grund des alten und verkommenen Zustandes. Leider entspricht dies überhaupt nicht den Beschreibungen. Die Ferienwohnung ist den Möglichkeiten nach liebevoll eingerichtet bedarf jedoch genauso einer Sanierung und Erneuerung. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht.

Entspannung pur

Der Aufenthalt war ruhig und entspannt. Die Wohnung bietet alles, was wir zu zweit für den Alltag brauchten. Das Einrichtung ist alt, aber in sehr gutem Zustand. Tipp: Bei der Übergabe genau schauen, ob alles in Ordnung ist und alles dokumentieren, damit es anschließend keine ärgerlichen Diskussionen gibt. Aber Frau Busch ist eine sehr freundliche und faire Gastgeberin, mit der man alles klären kann. Alles in allem ein toller Platz, um einen geruhsamen Urlaub zu verbringen.

Cosy für zu zweit

Es war alles wie beschrieben. Die Wohnung ist zwar alt aber sehr gut & liebevoll gepflegt, vor allem sauber. Uns hat nichts gefehlt. Im Nest(Schlafzimmer) konnten wir beim Sternen beobachten einschlafen, klein aber fein. Eine Empfehlung für Nostalgie-Fans. Die Empfang von Frau Hase & das telefonisches Gespräch mit Angela war enauch sehr nett. Vielen Dank! Gerne nächstes Mal wieder.
