Having a full sized shower and washer/dryer was incredibly nice. The kitchen was not built out when I stayed, but the kitchenette was more than enough.I enjoyed the location. “We had a wonderful stay in the garden apartment at Irvington House. It is very clean and comfortable. We took advantage of the beautiful backyard several times by having dinner or a glass of wine on the patio. If you get a chance to say hi to Mark (the owner), please do! Not only is he extremely nice and fun to chat with, he is very knowledgeable about Portland and the Irvington neighborhood. Let's just say that our list of "must visit" restaurants is longer now than when we arrived!……

“Son and I on cross country road trip. Great space in Portland and Michael and family were excellent hosts with ideas for some local gems. Great to meet both by chance upon arrival and on-street parking was good and plentiful also. Loved the clawfoot tub and the private lighted entrance. Would stay again. Easy place from which to access the city. ”
