Booked online, got there and they were fully booked

Staff very friendly and helpful . One has to understand the trying condition they find themselves in but in spite of this the stay at the establishment was great.

Acceptable lodging in nice area
We were welcomed and our room was ready. It was not spacious but clean. The bed was comfortable but the curtains need to be denser as they did not stop any light. Shower room as big as sleeping area. When lots of others (local football team) present the water and Wi-Fi suffered. We had breakfast and a little more communication over substitutions on menu could have saved their resources, I.e. liver was not a welcome substitute for sausage.
Parking fine and grounds nice. However it was good we didn’t arrive on Saturday when they were taken over by owner for her private party.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The bed linen wasn’t that clean
The door to one of the rooms needs fixing
There was no kettle in one of the rooms yet both rooms were charged the same price.
My stay was lovely. Though I had locked my suitcase, I found it unlocked. The only thing I missed were a few match sticks intended for my citronella candles.
But most of the the things were acceptable.
The Guest House can improve on the TV Channels as well as the screen to be clear.

Disliked: Room comfort
Decent place to stay. They can do better on cable channels and shower curtains in bathrooms
My stay here was everything I was looking for,a place with great gardens where you come sit back relax with no problems. There is a Pick&Pay supermarket fifteen minutes walk away with everything you need, perfect.
We enjoyed our stay.. it's not the nicest of buildings but the room was spacious and clean.. we had our privacy and we had comfortable a bed. Could do with some tables in the room and more shelving in the bathroom.. we didn't try their breakfast as $10 each seemed pricy
I stayed at The Daisy Guest House during a recent visit to Zimbabwe and would not hesitate to recommend it.
The guest house is a series of lodges within private grounds. Although the double suite on the first night was disappointing, I was moved to much better accommodation at the top end of the complex. The rooms there are clean, spacious and comfortable.
The staff deserve particular commendation. Nothing is too much trouble for Yvonne and Bob, whether it is changing money at the local bank, offering use of the Internet or giving advice about accommodation in other cities.
All of the above, plus the reasonable rates, mean I would definitely return. Just one problem: the location of the guest house is generally not known to taxi drivers, so mention that it is off Coates Road near the Kamfinsa Shopping Centre.
1 my plane was late and there was no shuttle to get me
2 The phone #s on my receipt din't get anybody
3 Upon arrival I had to look for a staff person to let me in
4 The shower stall door bound and couldn't be closed so had to shower in the tub
5 The tub didn't have a shower curtain so the floor got wet
6 The shower head was broken - I had to aim the leak to the back wall
7 The place was clean
8 In the morning the promised wakeup never came
9 I had to find the shuttle driver who had to locate the gate guard
10 After a late departure the driver stopped for gas and looked for an attendant
11 I told the driver we were very late to we went on, to the wrong building at the airport
12 The Driver wanted $20 for the trip
By pure chance we found this guest house on the internet. We were looking for some accomodation close by the airport in a neighbourhood area rather than in the city itself. When we arrived we were immediately taken by the friendly athmosphere of the guest house. Most convincing for us was the extraordinary helpfulness and cooperatefulness of the complete staff so that we could plan our trip through Zimbabwe more precisely. So during all our stays in harare we came back to this guest house and it will be like that in future.

Good enough
The room was clean, could have used a floor rug as the tiles were cold. Breakfast was ok. TV dd not have many channels, would have been nice to see the local channel so we could watch the local news and weather. It felt lOverall it is an up and coming place with great potential.
