「Beautiful old half-timbered auberge in a small town, with a delightful aspect. The owner, Tina, was very attentive, friendly and helpful - from local sightseeing recommendations to a lovely breakfast with locally sourced items. Bed was comfortable, good shower, rooms were spacious - for a building of this age - and parking was on site and easy. If you like the photos, it definitely looks like them, and I would heartily recommend.」

「Booked to stay here. Arrived at 11:30pm and gate was closed, desk closed at 11 and had no messages, no calls, no nothing basically to say what to do. You might say it’s my issue by arriving late and I shouldn’t expect courtesy these days. Nobody answering phones or reaching out to customers they know have booked and paid. So I ended up sitting outside the gate for 15 minutes and had no option other than to drive through the night for the next seven hours. Unimpressed. No idea why the hotel...

「Ah, Pont-Audemer… son charme, ses canaux, et cet hôtel resté coincé dans une faille temporelle quelque part entre 1987 et la série “Dynastie”. On sent que la rénovation a coûté cher à l’époque — probablement en pots de peinture “rose bonbon sucé” et “saumon indigeste n°42”. Depuis, rien n’a bougé, sauf peut-être la poussière et les illusions. La déco, c’est un peu comme si on avait voulu faire du Ravel mais qu’on avait fini en Richard Clayderman. 「The property is stunning and the grounds pretty. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed. As there was a heatwave, the air con was very much appreciated. It is a self check-in process and we didn't see any staff until breakfast time.」
