I know room ridges are not all that common in Europe, but almost standard in similar hotels in Europe and always in Japan. Entrance to hotel is very difficult with luggage, but I realize because of location in "old town" difficult to do anything about. "

"Lovely clean room but missing a kettle or even a bottle of water, a bit of a miss when there appeared to be no one working behind the bar when I returned from eating out as there is no evening food service at the Lundia.
