"The kitchenette and the could/chair were a really nice option. Also having a separate bedroom was great. The bed was very comfortable and the staff were great."

"An older property but well maintained. Was raining while there so hard to assess properly. Breakfast great. Staff was very helpful addressing needs, seekig information, etc. Very nice river view!"

"This is more of a Motel than a Hotel for starters. The area it is located is close to the Hospital which is handy if you are needing a hotel close by. Motel is quite old and in need of some TLC . The air.conditioner was loud and the controls did not work. I had to turn it off which resulted in a very uncomfortable, hot room. Bathroom was fairly clean. Bathtub needed replacement as it was heavily chipped. Walls needed paint as well. All in all, the front desk staff was friendly, rate was good but for a Sandman Hotel I was very surprised. Doesn't hold up the brand name."

"At the moment to check in there was two receptionists, the lady was busy checking in other guests and the gentleman was not busy. He did not offer me to help me. It was until the lady finished with the other guests that I was checked in. The window black out courtain did not closed all the way down and morning light was coming through. "

"This property was cleaned enough to stay but I they used some kind of cleaning solution that burns my nostrils I ended up having a headache. Scary looking guy greeted me and a piles of homeless person’s things scattered right beside my door. I didn’t feel safe and wanted to get out but I already paid and no where to go I was only in Kamloops for a medical appointment. Wifi is terrible, no cable tv, desk/ wired phone doesn’t work, no coffee or tea not even a kettle to heat water but there’s a microwave, no extra toilet paper and the one they left in my room was halfway used. Feeling safe is very important to me and I didn’t feel it on this property "

"The staff at check in were incredibly rude and we had a flat tire the next morning. So upsetting"

"Clean room. Helpful staff. Continental breakfast was ok after asking about items not stocked. They didn’t pay attention to being stocked and seemed irritated when asked, Parking was really tight. We had to ask people that were socializing to move so we could park. I believe people were living there (which is fine), but they did not keep their areas clean for overnight guests. We could hear them partying outside. There was a homeless person going through the trash looking for bottles and cans."

"Cute room, with nice patio. The staff is not the most professional. Beds are hard and squeaky. The hot tub was not working. Staff didn’t disclose this when I confirmed at check in so it was a surprise when we tried to use it. When asked when it would be fixed we were told they didn’t know, but none of the front desk staff seemed to care. One front desk person pointed at a person drinking a beer and said “that’s the maintenance worker”. The reason we chose to stay outside of town was for these amenities that we could not use at all during our stay. We asked for a partial refund due to this and the manager or owner came with a bottle of wine? I guess that is something."
