“My husband and I chose the Silo house because of its uniqueness. Overall, it was a neat place to stay.”

“Absolutely loved our stay. The cabin was exceptional, clean and welcoming. The only suggestion I would make is for a privacy fence at the end of the drive. We had kids on dirt bikes watching us in the hot tub from the end of the drive. Otherwise I would fully recommend. We will stay there again in the future.”

“Amazing view and well appointed home. We had everything we needed and plenty of space to relax and spread out in. Loved the loft bedroom and fire pit - but the best part was the sunset right out front.”

“Very comfortable and cozy. Our family had a great stay here.”

“We had a great stay”

“This was such a lovely, clean home. The robes were such a nice touch! We didn’t want to leave. It’s in a peaceful spot and felt very homey. Thank you for being dog friendly.”

“Beautiful home, close to the attractions and very quiet. Only downside was the Hot tub which was a major reason we rented it, cover was wore out allowing debris to get in and wouldn’t heat above 90 degrees and the controls for the jets one was missing and they would not function all the time. Communication with the host was excellent and speedy responses sent a maintenance worker out but was not able to solve the problem at the moment”

“This cabin exceeded my expectations! If I had known how tranquil and beautiful the surroundings were we would have stayed a whole week! My husband and two 17 year old boys enjoyed the place. We were able to swim and fish in the lake. It was so nice to sit outside with the rustling of the leaves, sound of the cicadas and birds. The sauna and hot tub were nice. Beds were comfy and water pressure for bathing was great. The interior design and the layout of the living/dining room and kitchen was……

“Everything was great, well organized.”

“The house is located on a street that has very low traffic flow ( which makes it very quiet). It has wonderful seating on the porch and a beautiful gazebo in the side yard. We always enjoy the short walk downtown and walking the the streets of town each day. There are So Many great little shops and eateries! The perfect location to stay in Americas Greatest Small Town. This house is a gem.”

“The cabin had a nice layout. My adult daughter and her boyfriend enjoyed having a private space in the basement and my teenager enjoyed having the main level bedroom to herself. My husband and I took the upstairs. I can only give a 3 star review as the cabin needs significant deferred maintenance. Examples include: a tile in the kitchen that is held up with tape that's starting to give, many doors are worn, chipped, damaged, there was mold in the bathroom window trim, etc. There also was an odor……

“The views!!!! The house was absolutely perfect! We can’t wait to come back!”

“Property appeared as listed. Excellent communication and check-in process. If we ever return to Harpers Ferry I would definitely stay here again.”

“The house was very clean and provided everything that we needed for our stay (sheets, towels, kitchen supplies, etc). The location was perfect and matched our needs - out of the way but near Charles Town, Harpers Ferry, and the Appalachian Trail. The hosts communicated well and were easy to work with making booking and checkout especially easy.”

“While there was something left to be desired by the kitchen utensils and cookware, this place is located off the beaten path in a beautiful mountainside area. Definitely worth the price. Just bring your own pot holders and pizza cutter if you plan on having pizza lol. ”

“This is a nice secluded place to unwind.”
