「This was a really nice unit. Not on the water, but within a few minutes drive time to Houghton Lake, and 20 minutes to Higgins Lake. Lots of beautiful trails, boat launches, and public parks. Located on a quiet street, close to stores and restaurants. Would stay here again. The host was more than accommodating, and made sure every need was met. The house is well equipped, even down to a crate for your dog. The washing machine and dryer were an added bonus!」

「Terrific property, well maintained and perfect for large groups of friends and family. Things we enjoyed the most on our trip:Clean! So clean, and I am a person who checks for bed bugs every where i go. Great beach/outdoor space. And lots of provided chairs, toys, water items, and yes even corn hole. 「Incredible view and communication with property owners make this stay a perfect weekend getaway. The lodge itself was clean, nicely spaced out for everyone to enjoy privacy or to come together for conversation on the deck overlooking the lake or the fire pit. The town is a few minutes away with an ice cream shop, hardware store and an outstanding grocery store with fresh cut meat available if you’re looking to grill/cook. Overall, I highly recommend this rental for a couples or family getaway. 」

「This is the cutest little spot I almost don’t want to give it such a good review so it doesn’t book up too soon. We want it all to ourselves. The beach is great. The lake is clean. The creek was our favorite spot. Everything was as it was promised. The hostess was great and we got to meet on the way out. Definitely recommend. 」

「The house was great, perfect for adults plus kids. We appreciated the little touches, like lots of games for the kids, a sandy beach area, and water toys. The owner was super easy to communicate with, and a small issue with the hot tub was taken care of right away.Lake City itself doesn't have a lot to offer except for the ice cream shop. And the part of the lake the house is on is very shallow and full of weeds. But the house itself was great.」

「My husband and I enjoyed Kelley’s “better than a tent” cabin for our anniversary getaway. The cabin was spotless, smelled really nice and had so much charm throughout. I wish we could have enjoyed the outside portion of the cabin more, as it is designed for such a fun outdoor space, but we were out and about all weekend. If we are back in the area again, we would for sure rent this cabin again. 」
