「First off, we booked for 3 people and 10 days. We were given 1 trash bag, 2 1/2 rolls of toilet paper, two dishwasher pods, and one laundry pod. Not very well serviced. It must be noted that the courtyard the flat is in, is also a beer garden for a local pub. That means drunk people yelling and laughing until the wee hours of the morning with cigarette smoke making everything smell like an ashtrray. as well as a daily 7am wake up call from dumping all yhe glass bottles into the recycling. there...

「Turning into the drive, we were met with daffodils, sheep and lambs - calm, relaxing. Then, entering the cottage we were met with fresh scones and a lovely welcome hamper. After a day out exploring we enjoyed sitting by the log burner with a glass of wine. There are easy walks from the door, convenient for quality shops in Harrogate with many historic sites nearby. Andy and Sue were excellent hosts, keen to ensure we had everything we needed. Will hopefully return on future visits from Canada.」

「The house was clean and very well equipped, nothing was missing. The location is near to the city centre, we could reach everything on foot. We enjoyed our stay in Harrogate and can highly recommend this house.」

「We enjoyed staying at Lyndale House. The house was very clean and we all loved having our own room with ensuite.The beds were really comfortable. There was a very well equiped kitchen with many basic ingredients provided. The house was really well located at the bottom of the Main Street. The only negative for us was having no where outside, at the house, to sit and enjoy the beautiful weather. This would not be an issue if the weather had not been so good!」

The village of Hampsthwaite was the perfect distance outside of busy Harrogate. Very peaceful with friendly and helpful locals, a good pub, cafe and convenience store. 「Good location - but can hear people sitting out at rear of pub - heating not fully working and thermostat & fusebox makes a loud noise when heating turned on. No curtains only light coloured vertical blinds in main bedroom so very light in the morning as the sun comes up. Other bedroom not bad as dark coloured blinds - not as bright.」
