「The house was in a great location on South Main - close to restaurants and coffee shops as well as the river and parks. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go downtown! The house had everything we needed to accommodate our family of four. Perfect and minimalist... just what we needed! I highly recommend staying here.」

「We traveled over from Denver looking for some quiet and space. This property offered both in abundance, and was clean and comfortable. We also appreciated the location equidistant between Alma and Fairplay, as we were able to run into both towns easily. Communication was easy, polite, and responsive as well.」

「We were there for business - a sculpture dedication at the Irish Miners Memorial which is worth visiting. But we also enjoyed being with in walking distance of the cafes and shops. The property was very clean. It does have quirks that go with a house that was built around 150 years ago, like some slightly sloping floors and such but that’s part of the fun. 」

「The place was marvelous! We absolutely loved it! The walk to the Twin Lakes is so beautiful coming from the house, and it's walking distance to everything you would need. We will absolutely be staying here again!」

「Very comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully equipped and supplied, except we couldn’t find any ice trays. Our one disappointment was that the patio wasn’t more attractive. An umbrella or awning for shade and a few pots of flowers to replace the weeds would have made it a much pleasanter place to hang out. The hot tub was great. 」
