The room was beautiful and it was fairly close to the ferry. Unfortunately, even though we had our own ensuite bathroom, our bedroom connected to a bathroom that served other rooms. The room was spacious, clean, an extremely comfortable bed and the staff were lovely. The only issue was the air conditioning it was a very hot nights sleep.I would definitely stay at a B&B hotel again.

Historic town with a lot of navy history but not huge amount to do other than wander & fairly nice beach ideal for small kids ,town shops all a bit tired . Old sea fort & redoubt are interesting to look around
