“Fin beliggenhet. Enkel innsjekk. Dessverre vi fikk rom ved siden av inngangsdøra. Det var varmt og vi kunne ikke åpne vinduene på grunn av røyklukt. Røyke plassen var rett utenfor. Det var alltid noen der som røyka til ut på natt. Det luktet mugg på badet og noe i leiligheten når vi kom. Vann renner ut fra dusjen. Soverommene er små, lite plass til å gå rundt senga. Det står lystette gardinen, men gardinen er for smale og dårlig montert, det var lyst hele natta. Lyset fra utelyset lyste også……

“We arrived just after the kitchen closed after having travelled a long way . Given it was my birthday I was hoping for a special meal . When I told the receptionist it was my birthday the chef said I will sort it for you . He prepared us a delicious meal of fish soup and king prawns and pasta with homemade butter . It was truly delicious and I would say Michelin star level . What a kind man . The breakfast was equally delicious with homemade muesli and homemade biscuits with the normal extras……

“Interesting lodging. It's an apartment building that seems to have longer term tenants, it's not really a hotel as there's no staff on site. We were able to reach a very helpful and friendly staff person via phone, however. Shared bathrooms, kitchen and living area. Clean. Good grocery market 2 kins down the hill. Overall, good value.”

“Excellent resort. In addition to the typical features of a luxury hotel, Storfjord offered rentals of Porsche SUVs, kayaking with or without guides, hiking trails, and wonderful books everywhere. The staff was exceptional in every way, the rooms beautiful and well equipped, and the architecture stunning, The prevalence of wood everywhere added warmth and an eco-friendly atmosphere. ”

“Die Gegend ist sehr schön. Das Haus hingegen ist nicht so schön, wie es dargestellt wird. Haus nicht gereinigt vorgefunden, gebrauchte Bettwäsche vorgefunden. Kommunikation nicht klar, ob mit Besitzer oder Agentur. Aber die Agentur NOVASOL ist fair entgegengekommen. Zum Schluß grundsätzlich OK.”

“Overall, a wonderful property. Secluded location with nearby fantastic areas to explore including Alesund and Trollstigen.would have been better if the driveway to house was grated and leveled in order to drive up to unload. Also, we were traveling quite a bit and would have been nice to have laundry working.”
