After dinner, I strongly recommend walking to Itsukushima Shrine and the torii gate, which are just a few minutes away. Once all the tourists have left, you can enjoy the quiet island and the beautiful views all to yourself."

"Wonderful property. Listed as a hotel but definitely more a ryokan. Meal served in room…staff came in to set up bedding. Attentive and friendly staff, from greeters to front desk to housekeeping, restaurant and drivers. Arigato!"
