"My son and I spent Christmas at Kathi's Captain’s Quarters near Helena, and it was unforgettable. The view alone is worth the trip—this home isn’t just near the lake, it is on the lake. Waking up to sunrise over the water while sitting in the hot tub felt like a gift in itself.The cabin was spotless and stocked far beyond what we expected. Every detail felt thoughtful, from the kitchen supplies to the little conveniences that made our stay effortless. Kathi even decorated for Christmas, which made the space feel warm, festive, and welcoming the moment we walked in.The location is wonderfully quiet and peaceful. We loved relaxing by the fireplace, and we were delighted when deer wandered right up to the door. It felt like stepping into a winter postcard.Kathi was an exceptional host—responsive, kind, and genuinely invested in making our stay special. She even watched our little dog, Mazy, so we could explore the area without worry. That level of care is rare and so appreciated.We will absolutely be returning again and again. The Captain’s Quarters has become one of our favorite places, and we can’t wait for our next stay."

"Host was easily accessible and very welcoming. The expectations were clear and easy. Make yourself at home was the sign and that was so easy to abide by. Comfortable, clean, and kitchen fully equipped for all types of meal preparation. This property can easily be enjoyed in any seasion Montana has to offer. Close to all recreational activities as well as shopping and events. "
