"We really enjoyed our stay at the Alhabana and highly recommend it! Alhabana is located in Central Havana. By staying in Central Havana we were able to have an intimate experience on how real Cubans lived. The staff was outstanding! We would like to thank Rafa for all his help, answering questions, arranging an airport transfer and a day trip to Vinales. Alhabana was extremely accommodating and helped us when we were delayed 2 days arriving due to weather. We want to say THANK YOU for a great experience in Cuba!"

"A wonderful place to stay in old Havana. The hotel is an art studio with comfortable and clean bedrooms. Their rooftop patio is a dining area and bar With super views over the old town. Alberto and his team are very warm hosts. Great coffee; delicious breakfasts and meals are prepared on the premises to order. Just a super place to escape. "

"Sublimely extravagant boutique hotel. We have stayed in many luxury hotels and few boutique hotels and El Candil is by far the most amazing experience (yes it's not a stay it's an experience) we have ever had the pleasure of. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and there is nothing they won't do for you. Arranging tours, transfers and great advice. Attention to detail is in every aspect of your experience. We were treated to a roof top terrace with only one other guest. A barman/server and two chefs! We felt like Royalty. Fresh cocktails made to order and beautiful food made fresh to order whilst soaking up the relaxing atmosphere of the private (for guest) roof terrace. The room is beautifully decorated,again with attention to detail in everything. The bed, bedding and pillow are sumptuous. We can't recommend El Candil enough our only regret was not booking this hotel for our entire stay in Havana. We will definitely be back and cannot recommend the hotel and it's staff enough. "

"Hosts were very kind and helpful with anything we needed, especially with arranging transportation/tours. Cooks are particularly good and food ended up being some of the best we had in the area. The space itself is very well kept and charming, the dining common area and the rooms have a great vibe. Strong recommend if you are staying in Habana Vieja."

Grande habitación con a/c, y un baño muy amplio y limpio , agua caliente. Pero el detalle más hermoso es la la hostess, Diamela, mujer increíblemente hermosa y amable que te hace sentir como en tu propia casa. Volveremos pronto. "
