"We had a very small but comfortable room. It included a breakfast with some good choices. What stood out to us was the staff. They are exceptionally thoughtful and helpful. We stayed as part of a family event for Thanksgiving and the staff did all they could to make everyone's stay comfortable and meaningful. We also appreciated the group facilities in the basement for our family reunion at Thanksgiving. "

"Absolutely perfect place for our family and friends to stay for our wedding weekend. Plenty of space and bathrooms. Dining room was fabulous for sharing meals together. Both nights we enjoyed the fire pit closest to the house. We used the outdoor grill one evening. Also used kitchen appliances. Everything worked great and was very clean. Everyone just loved it! House manager was very responsive and helpful in the months leading up to the weekend as well. "

"Booked with Expedia who said hotel acknowledged reservation but at check in, said no reservation. Front desk has no computer. Expedia tried calling multiple times but call was disconnected. Given room and resolved in AM. Room door didn't lock. Bed stiff. Shower scorching hot. Cleanliness very questionable. Recommend driving 30 miles to another hotel."
