“Mr. Hunter's cottage is a lovely cottage from a by-gone era. Located in the mountains of Giles county, VA, this cottage is comfortable with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. The cottage is furnished with pieces that could have been there when it was built. The cottage has a beautiful porch, a great place for morning coffee. “The bus was awesome! Had everything we needed for a short stay. Comfortable bed, a nice fire pit, shower, toilet, and refrigerator. Lacking ample firewood scavenging. Suggest bring your own firewood. Recommend keeping your dogs away from woods as there were an abundance of brier prickers.”

“I never do reviews, but was so impressed I am sharing. The property was exactly as pictured and described. Had booked a year in advance for my daughter’s graduation. It was a great place for a family gathering. We took advantage of kayaks, cornhole, and pool table. Everything was clean, grass mowed, and fire pit ready to go. “We drove out from the west coast to celebrate graduation, a birthday and Mother’s Day. The house was very clean and well appointed. No clutter. There were four adults in our party and we had over a few other local family members for brunch. House had everything we needed. The third bedroom had a photo of a couch and was listed with the VRBO default of a futon. However it was just a couch and not a pullout that we assumed. However my nephew is only 24 so he was fine sleeping on the couch. Kim……
