"Pretty crowded but there was minimal wait for restaurants and pool wasnt too crowded if you are interested in that.. we didn't stay on resort much as we explored the island during our stay"
"We loved close proximity to everything, loved the beach. However, there were not nearly enough servers for all the people near the pool.
The price to rent umbrellas and chairs was $100 a day and unfortunately, sitting with our towels in front of the hotel got difficult after 2 PM because the tide would come in and wipe out all the sand. So unless you had beach loungers all your things got soaked.
I was yelled at by one of the workers renting beach loungers for putting my things on the chair. I just don’t think they pay enough attention to customer service like they do in other hotels. I’ve been to the staff needs to learn better skills.
The pool is also very crowded and the adult pool really is small with difficult to get drink service"
"Love the Grand Wailea but things are starting to show wear and tear. They need updating on the cobblestone pathways around the pools. There are broken ones that you can trip on and they become so slippery I saw several people fall while we’re there. They also get so hot during the day people are always complaining and rushing to get off them. There has to be some sort of non-slip/anti heat coating they can put on them or they should find a new material to use. It’s dangerous. Bathrooms in the rooms could also use a deep clean but everything else about the property is absolutely beautiful!"
